For our first visit to this place, we were quite impressed by the dishes perfectly sized to be shared. The menu has a nice selection of seafood dishes, including paella. Our choices went for the octopus dishes. For those who have a craving for a sweet finish, like us, the house versions of the “pain perdu” and the “creme caramel” are tasty and delicious, and not too sweet. The wine selection is a bit weak as the place is known for its cocktails. Definitely a place to visit again.

8/10Homely food very well cooked with the exception of the scallops which are not recommended (but there are so many other excellent options like the tuna with avocado and mango which was fantastic). Not much space though but it is a tapas bar after all!

10/10It is much smaller place than I expected. But the food…. We tried different dishes and taste palette is incredible. I would say the best in Barcelona

+1We enjoyed our lunch at Abanic. The paella was delicious, not too salty and the octopus on top was really tender, which was better than some of the other popular restaurants we tried in Barcelona. The croquettes were okay, and the torreznos were yummy, although some were a bit hard to chew.

8/10The service was 10\10 i have never been to a place with such good waiting stuff that would talk with you and it felt like home in a sense :) The food was good but in my opinion a bit pricey some things are super good some others are not so good in my opinion. The 3 pinchitos were extremely good but the pa amb tomaquet was not good at all. Nevertheless the ambience, the location and the staff make it ª memorable experience!!!

2/10We didn't get to eat here despite booking a table well in advance. We arrived on time and were told that the only 'table' available was a couple of bar stools wedged up against the window outside with a rickety high table. There was a large empty table inside which had presumably set aside for a larger group. We were told if we didn't want the the bar stools we would have to wait until someone else left. To add insult to injury, a table set for 6 outside was then split and given to two parties of three people, one of which turned up after us. After waiting for 10-15 minutes we gave up and found somewhere else to eat where our custom was appreciated and we were treated with some respect. Clearly the priority at Abanic is large groups who will presumably spend more money.
