The food was really very good. I had the grilled swordfish and my wife had calamari and shrimp . Both of us were were very happy with our meal. The service was friendly and helpful as our Italian is limited.

The starter and main dishes were good. But the desert (cannolo scomposto) was nothing like a cannolo ... more a cheese cake. The restaurant was as good as empty so the atmosphere wasn’t very welcoming. To close the night than we received a bill way to high for what we had.

We have in Sicily a week. We have really enjoyed our culinary experiences. Our experience at this restaurant was good. The food was not exceptionally better than any other we have enjoyed, but it was good, and well presented. The service excellent--we were the only patrons so it had to be excellent. The house wine, white, was unexceptional. Having dined at no other restaurant in Noto, we have no basis of comparison locally, but we thought the food and service was good and the dining experience enjoyable.

Excellent place! The service was very helpful and we just followed their suggestions: for entrants we had some kind of small calamari (I forgot how it is called in Sicilian) and then we had some orata, everything was great!
