Amazing little restaurant just out of city centre. Great fallouts excellent wine lisr

The food was wonderful and the service was excellent. Really attentive and knowledgeable server, felt welcomed and very attended to. The food was great - pork ribs, braised beef, mushrooms, beans with bacon and coleslaw was more than enough for two of us! Thoroughly recommend and so pleased we ate here.

This is a very small restaurant. We had fish in a cream of peas that was incredibly tasty, as well as ribs that were also delicious. They bake their bread, which was also outstanding. The service was very friendly. We loved this place!

Everything about The Fork was lovely. We had a darling waiter, the service and the food was divine. If we ever get back to Bologna we will visit again.

The veal was dry and tasteless, no texture or flavour. The ravioli was overcooked and dry, missing. The best part of the meal was the sparkling water. The buttered vegetables are okay but the potatoes are burnt and too salty.

A great dining experience. Very friendly and helpful staff. We will remember the smoked venison ravioli , a unique dish.

A great little restaurant where we enjoyed superb food and great attentive service. Tucked away in suburbia but punching above its weight. Would highly recommend. Booking also recommended.

Affumico is a little outside the main tourist area of Bologna, but is more than worth the detour to this intimate neighbourhood gem for the friendly and charming service and the addition of the perfect level of smokiness to the food. An interesting and expertly-curated wine list, and very realisable prices, mark this out as place to return to.

very small restaurant. we had made a reservation several days before and when we arrived we were surprised to see that our table was right next to the wc. We did not accept to sit in this very bad place. We politely asked to be seated at another table. There were tables available. But they informed us that it is for more people. Finally we sat at the bar. The tables remained empty for quite some time. 2 people came without a reservation sat down without asking at the table of their choice.... What can I say .... The waitress was kind. Food just good. Nothing special. The wine very good

A short taxi ride from the centre of Bologna however, well worth the effort. The food is fresh and delicious. Staff were super friendly and explained the menu in detail. We enjoyed beef cheek burger, pulled pork pasta, sides of potatoes and beans. So yummy. Basic ingredients but elevated in a clever way to make them special.

Wonderful ambience & service from the moment we arrived. Excellent wine suggestion from a small producer in NE Italy, which they were beginning to support…small production wine from bespoke producers. The food, whilst mainly smoked, had the most delicious, subtle flavours, each dish unique & memorable. We walked from our hotel in 25mins & it is in a really nice neighbourhood. The ambiance of the space is spot on, with timber furniture & washed concrete walls. The best part is that it is not your standard Bologna / Italian fare. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Food was great, the braised beef particularly was so tender. Excellent sides, potatoes tasty and crispy, the smoky beans were amazing. My only criticism was the lack of bbq sauce available to go with the pork. I appreciated the fact they separated both and didn't drown the pork in bbq sauce, however if you're going to have bbq sauce as a side, at least put offer more than a 25 ml shot glass of it. Food itself is great, just a bit tight on the bbq sauce.

Small restaurant, foods are delicious, local people prefer. but they need an english menu, otherwise you have to google all menu as we had to do.

Secret oasis in Bologna. As the restaurant is not inside the main city center, we have not seen it but found via theFork. It is veery tiny and has limited space but taste of the food is just the opposite. Staff is also welcoming and you can easily find high level English speaking staff which is not the case all the restaurants in Bologna. For sure we will return

Fantastic food, great wine and really well priced. Service was great and so warm and professional. Cannot recommend highly enough. Next time i’m back in Bologna i’ll visit again.

Found this restaurant through a Web search engine. Although we were late for our reservation, as we couldn't find a taxi, we notified the restaurant and we got a very very warm welcome. The service was excellent. The waiter explained everything and we decided to share all dishes. Nice selection of wines and beers. Very very tasty food.

Excellent service. Very good food. Homemade bread and butter was an extra. The restaurant is not in the city centre though. They use paper cutlery which spoils a little bit the taste of the food to me, but this is very personal. Very good overall.
