The veal was dry and tasteless, no texture or flavour. The ravioli was overcooked and dry, missing. The best part of the meal was the sparkling water. The buttered vegetables are okay but the potatoes are burnt and too salty.

Affumico is a little outside the main tourist area of Bologna, but is more than worth the detour to this intimate neighbourhood gem for the friendly and charming service and the addition of the perfect level of smokiness to the food. An interesting and expertly-curated wine list, and very realisable prices, mark this out as place to return to.

very small restaurant. we had made a reservation several days before and when we arrived we were surprised to see that our table was right next to the wc. We did not accept to sit in this very bad place. We politely asked to be seated at another table. There were tables available. But they informed us that it is for more people. Finally we sat at the bar. The tables remained empty for quite some time. 2 people came without a reservation sat down without asking at the table of their choice.... What can I say .... The waitress was kind. Food just good. Nothing special. The wine very good
