9/10George and the whole service team were very hospitable. Great food from the dishes we selected . Octopus , Steak Tartare , Ravioli and the Gnocchi were a perfect match for the Valpolicella 2019 WBTG. We will go back !!

10/10We were just off the plane and ready to sit outside on the sidewalk for a late lunch. Instead they recommended the interior garden, such an oasis. Food and service was great.

10/10We feel in love with Agli Alboretti on our first visit, when we stopped by after our evening stroll for an Aperol spritz and gelato, which inspired this reservation. On this day, we were seated in the garden area and enjoyed a delicious meal with wine. This visit was followed by 2 additional ones over the next few days. We loved each meal. The most delightful and outstanding dish was the Burrata & Pomodoro starter. I have never tasted such exquisite burrata in my life. It was beyond measure of any other burrata. The ravioli was excellent as were the other dishes we chose. The service was very good as well. When we return to Venice, we will most definitely stop by Agli Alboretti again and again!

6/10The staff were very friendly which you don't always get as a foreigner in Venice. The food, however, was disappointing and unappealing. The veal ragout was heavily over salted and had the appearance of something a dog would regurgitate. The gnocchi was soggy and over done and seemed like something from a frozen bag. The steak was slightly over cooked, flavourless and colourless, though it improved with the addition of salt and pepper.

6.5/10The table was not ready when we arrived and they made us wait for 10 minutes, standing in the crowded restaurant. The food arrived so quick we felt very rushed, they clearly want to have as much customers as possible. The food was ok, nothing exceptional.

2.5/10It was pretty dirty and inside in the court people were smoking. The food was ordinary and expensive for its quality. We ordered pasta ail e olio and we were served with just pasta (not seasoned at all) and a bottle of oil aside. At the end after we added the olive oil we obtained olive oil pasta…

9.5/10I thought better than some the reviews suggested. Yes few mosquitoes around when we first arrived but they provided mosquito repellent which meant we weren’t bothered. As to the food, good bread, my wife really liked the Steak Tartare, and the grilled octopus was fantastic, as was the ravioli, the best I have ever had. All in all excellent and at a normal Venetian price.

4.5/10Was looking forward to here based on reviews.I booked in advance with no promotional offer.We weren’t able to sit in the garden part and were seated alone inside the restaurant.Service was OK.Food was rather disappointing for the price and the ambience was non-existent.A shame as we are staying directly across.No-one seemed to care and for once we didn’t receive the limoncello aperitif before leaving.Honestly,the previous 2 nights with the discount were better experiences and much cheaper.

9.5/10Wonderful service!!! fantastic appetizers of Grilled octopus and burrata. Each of our entree of our pasta selections, which are house made, were delicious including the spaghetti Nero, gnocchi and spaghetti with clams. Really nice experience all around!

10/10Found this little restaurant using google. Thought we would give it a try. Turns out the food was really good and the staff was very pleasant. The portions were not american size portions but they were perfect. Any more food on my plate would have been wasted. Everyone should give this place a try.

7/10The food was very good. The staff was friendly and prompt. I thought the ambiance was lacking. The lighting was very bright. The outdoor area seemed really cute, but unfortunately, we dined there on a rainy evening, so that was all shut down.

4/10It is probable the worst restaurant I have been . The food was bad , the courgettes in my pasta were over cooked and the shrimps hard to find , the octopus had a weird soft texture , probably not fresh. At 9:45 waiters disappeared, leaving us without offering dessert or coffee, another table was left with the dirty plates being cleared .. we had to go inside to find somebody to pay .. awful experience .

10/10This restaurant is off the beaten path but a local gem! Staff could not have been more accommodating and the food was excellent…we discovered it 6 years ago and made it a point to return on this visit!!! Don’t miss the chance!

4.5/10There’s the option to pay with TheFork pay, but the head waiter didn’t even know and refused it. Tons of biting mosquitoes. The tagliata is not up to standard for an Italian restaurant, the pasta neither. They clearly cater mainly to tourists who don’t know any better. Really disappointing.

10/10What a great find in the middle of a street many are on. It is calm with delicious food and the best tiramisu in Venice. Also a very wonderful wine list and they introduced us to some new ones that were quite good. The wait staff was so very friendly. On our return to list.

10/10It is many years since I was last in Agli Alboretti ( It translates as to the little trees) and I can't think why I haven't been back more often, maybe because I had simply forgotten quite how good the food is. I went with a golfing mate after we had played on the Lido and we wanted somewhere close to our apartment in Dorsoduro. The food, the wine and the service were all terrific. I could write loads more about it but suffice to say that my friend, who has worked all around the worl, said the steak tartare, prepared for us at our table, was the best he has ever eaten. Great value given the quality of produce and somewhere to go to be guaranteed a top meal when in Venice.

6.5/10Taste good. Less volume. We could not become full. Waiter gave extra drink to the next table guests and asked them to write a good review on the web. We didn't get anything. I didn't need an extra drink. It should be fair for review always.
