9/10Great food at good prices, Sicilian music and lovely ambiance. Only slight negative was the service as antipasti came with the main and my son’s main came half an hour later after asking twice. But didn’t spoil our night and we’ll go back. Was just unfortunate.

10/10We were lucky to find this restaurant - Agriturismo Passo dei Briganti! We had a fabulous dinner - a bit hard to find the location - but worth the trouble. The waiters were so friendly and helpful! Thank you for a wonderful evening!

10/10Excellent local food in a nice setting. There is a lot of choice. The dough used for pizzas rises during 48 hours which makes them more digestible. There are also digestive drinks made locally by a partner, good wine and good beer (though no tap beer)

7.5/10Nice atmosphere, great antipasti. But we weren’t happy with our main dishes. Maybe we just chose the wrong ones.

10/10This restaurant is amazing! The location is really nice and quiet, with the background music and in the middle of nothing. The food was incredible! We ate fish and everything was really good! Recommended

9.5/10This old inn is at the end of a steepish dirt road tucked deep in a notch of land between bridges and highways, and the only evidence of being in a city is the Agrigento skyline in the distance, and the faint drone of occasional traffic. The dining room is small, with exposed rough-hewn stone and pine wood detail, four large tables and three smaller ones, and was served by a single, smiling, and very busy and efficient server. Every table was occupied and the clientele was about half each Italian and foreign, which made for a lively, intimate and upbeat dinner. The offering is rustic Sicilian food, that recalls my grandfather’s cooking. Our prix fixe menu began with cold and warm starters, and continued with two pastas, both served family-style. A meat grill plate followed, of lamb, pork, and chicken (an omelet for our ovovegetarian) and potato, a salad, then fruit and cassata as finishing sweets. The kids in our party opted for pasta pomodoro and pasta with butter and cheese, at a whopping 5 euros each. All the food was very good. As mentioned, the fare, particularly the fixed menu, is rustic food, and and is rated high for freshness and authenticity, but is not cutting-edge cuisine. That said, the alacarte Pasta con Sarde and Pasta Vongole we saw on other tables looked top-notch. Mineral water and red wine ad libitum were included, as well as espresso (and probably cappuchino, although we didn’t order it). We had no room for grappa or homemade lemon liqueur after the enormous amount of food, but that might have been included as well. Unless you rush through it (and why on earth would you do that?), plan on between two and three hours for dinner. The value for the prix fixe was unbeatable—the waiter’s response when we mentioned the unconsumably large amount of food served us was to grin, point to his large belly, and say “that’s Sicily!” This was a great evening, and a great meal.
