10/10I had lunch at Akabeko on Thursday 07 December 2023. This lunch was absolutely fabulous. First, i have been to more 2 and 3 star restaurants than i can easily count including Guy Savoy Paris, Taillivent Paris, Maison Rostang Paris, Le Bernardin New York, Bareiss Restaurant Baiersbronn Mittletal, Paul Bocuse Lyon, Petit Nice Marseilles, etc, etc. so i know a good one when i see it. Akabeko is absolutely equal to any of those i listed above. Look for this place to get a star when the next version of the red guide comes out. You get a choice between 3, 5 or 7 courses, I took the 5 with the wine pairings. Everything was perfect, There is a precision of cooking and balance of flavors at this restaurant that is absolutely fabulous. A while back there was a similar restaurant in Paris, 1 star, called Hiramatsu, that seems to not have survived the pandemic. It was a French restaurant with Japanese ownership. Akabeko reminds me a lot of Hiramatsu but is better! I have a new favorite now when i go to Paris.

10/10One of the best Japanese restaurant outside Japan. I think I visited at least 100 Japanese restaurant all over the world but this is the best . The only thing I have to say is that the wine list recharged too much the real wine prices

10/10This is an extraordinary restaurant, with a wonderful tasting menu made even better by a thoughtful and creative choice of wines to accompany each dish. All with warm and friendly service. Right now Akebeko is one of the best in Paris.

10/10We dined at Akabeko for our wedding anniversary. It was an extraordinary experience. The decor is modern and chic. The service was warm, welcoming, and extremely professional. The food was original and inventive and expertly prepared and plated. Dinner was a little on the expensive side but a great value considering the experience that we enjoyed. While we were leaving the chef made a point of thanking us for coming. This place deserves a Michelin star and don't be surprised if one comes their way.

From start to finish, every dish was beautifully presented, expertly crafted, and bursting with flavor. 10/10Visited this place, few days after the brand new opening, the restaurant is wonderful, the decoration is purified and elegant. The plates are as sublime as they look. The service is caring and professional, they know all the details of the food they serve and even the name of little herbs on the top will be given. They give advices if you need any recommendations for the wines and the sakes! I discovered nihonshu tonight! We’ll be back for sure as soon as we comeback to Paris!
