If you want to have a Japanese experience in Paris, then Akabeko is the perfect solution. Located in the center of Paris, the chic restaurant offers you a special culinary experience: an extremely balanced tasting menu, which combines the two culinary cultures for a special result. Also I should underline the excelent service. Congratulation to all the team members!

The 7 courses menu was great. We loved the creativity, the fusion and the quality of the ingredients. We have not been convinced at all by the pairing proposal and its value. Though, we don’t recommend it from the perspective of its value. Also the personnel was not clear specifying its cost even though they were really nice during the course of the dinner. Been sitting upstairs in front of the toilet door, it was a bit awful, especially when some guests were leaving the door open and it didn’t smell really great.

Excellent food, lovely place, great service! The 5 course menu is great. Not too little, not too much - could do with 7 courses though I guess! The wine pairing is good but not a necessity. It may be worth considering wine by the glass or a bottle.

My husband and I celebrated for our anniversary at the restaurant and sat at the bar. The experience was phenomenal, the food delicious and we appreciated all the knowledge shared about the wine and sake pairing we got with our tasting. I can’t wait to go back.
