We had a wonderful meal at Al Casolare. The quality of the food was top notch. The staff was kind and very helpful. The prices were on par for this quality restaurant. We will be back!

The food was excellent and the service was amazing especially as when we asked the lady who was serving everyone in the restaurant on her own to make two Espresso Martinis she delivered the best ones we have had probably ever.

Food was mediocre; we were charged over £140 for starters (6people) and a total bill of almost £300 even though some of us didn’t have a main course. Only 15 customers (including 6of us) at the restaurant on a Friday evening which speaks volumes. Far better restaurants in town

Wow, what a surprise. Great food, amazing meat from their own farm, lovely staff. 100% recommend. Family of 9 in total. Kids loved the pizza.

We had a lovely meal celebrating my wife’s birthday while on holiday in Italy. Very good service. Lovely steak. Watch out - the fried potatoes are (very good, hand made) crisps; what the US would call chips. The tiramisu was perfect. If I was able to go back I would order the bombette, they looked excellent. Overall a very good meal.

Al Casolare has new owners and they are really working hard to improve on a restaurant which was pretty good to start with. Standard of meat is excellent, chips were good, service friendly and prompt. Just marked the food down a pip from 10/10 as they have changed their house wine and the new one is sweet and was warm, Otherwise it was a perfect steak and chips dinner as always.

This is a food lovers heaven, the anti pasti were delicious and the steak, chosen by us from the counter, was out of this world. The house crisps (chips) are interesting, but pommels frites we’re available too. Cannot fault this restaurant. Staff were extremely helpful with our sketchy Italian.
