9/10Al Casolare has new owners and they are really working hard to improve on a restaurant which was pretty good to start with. Standard of meat is excellent, chips were good, service friendly and prompt. Just marked the food down a pip from 10/10 as they have changed their house wine and the new one is sweet and was warm, Otherwise it was a perfect steak and chips dinner as always.

10/10This is a food lovers heaven, the anti pasti were delicious and the steak, chosen by us from the counter, was out of this world. The house crisps (chips) are interesting, but pommels frites we’re available too. Cannot fault this restaurant. Staff were extremely helpful with our sketchy Italian.
