Our server made us order too much food which we had to waste. He told us a barefaced lie that the Italian menu stated that each person had to order 4 courses so he was obliging us by getting to order only 2.. When we left there was no smiles Buona Seras. We have been regulars here but we'll never go again.

Food was delicious, service was very attentive. We were also served with little extras from the chef before and in between meals which were tasty too and added a special touch to the experience. At the end, the chef himself came to check if everything was OK. It was greatly appreciated. A big well done. We will surely return when back in Turin. Highly recommended.

The service and the food was excellent. We traveled for two weeks from Rome to Portofino, to Torino, Milano and Firenze. Al Garamond was our favourite restaurant of the whole trip. Bellissimo!

Before our dinner at Al Garamond last Friday, we visited it twice, in 2018 and 2019. We have always been impressed with the ingenuity and quality of the food, and last Friday was as good and even better than the previous visits. Fine dining with a Sicilian twist. The hosts were gracious, friendly and informative. We also liked the humor and willingness to engage. It was a memorable and satisfying experience. We will be back, thank you.

The worst reception ever. Cold, distant, unpleasant. The food was mediocre. Fish not fresh. Foul smell coming from the kitchen.

The service was impeccable however we were a bit disappointed with the food. We had been recommended the swordfish carpaccio and neither of us could eat it it was very pungent and fishy. I ordered the guinea fowl and it was very dry. However my daughter enjoyed her pasta and my little boy enjoyed his veal Milanese. An expensive meal that we left still quite hungry. Very charming ambiance though.

Great dining experience; agreed to the fixed menu; food was creative, several stood out, the swordfish carpaccio, the dessert. The winelist very worthy and our server most helpful sorting the right choice to the pairing. V attractive setting. Service top notch; very strong value to price. Was wife’s birthday, and they make it quite special. As Michelin guides say: ‘worth the detour’. Thanks much.
