Food was fantastic. Wine is mostly by the bottle, just a few things by the glass and you have to ask. The house champagne was delicious, The service was not attentive, waiters did not go out of their way to be friendly. The ambiance was minimalist and the exposed brick lovely. I'm glad we went and would dine again for the food.

Our server made us order too much food which we had to waste. He told us a barefaced lie that the Italian menu stated that each person had to order 4 courses so he was obliging us by getting to order only 2.. When we left there was no smiles Buona Seras. We have been regulars here but we'll never go again.

Food was delicious, service was very attentive. We were also served with little extras from the chef before and in between meals which were tasty too and added a special touch to the experience. At the end, the chef himself came to check if everything was OK. It was greatly appreciated. A big well done. We will surely return when back in Turin. Highly recommended.

The service and the food was excellent. We traveled for two weeks from Rome to Portofino, to Torino, Milano and Firenze. Al Garamond was our favourite restaurant of the whole trip. Bellissimo!

Exquisite food that is both classic and innovative. The oysters spaghetti with broccoli is divine! The space is beautifully lit. A special experience for us.

Before our dinner at Al Garamond last Friday, we visited it twice, in 2018 and 2019. We have always been impressed with the ingenuity and quality of the food, and last Friday was as good and even better than the previous visits. Fine dining with a Sicilian twist. The hosts were gracious, friendly and informative. We also liked the humor and willingness to engage. It was a memorable and satisfying experience. We will be back, thank you.

The worst reception ever. Cold, distant, unpleasant. The food was mediocre. Fish not fresh. Foul smell coming from the kitchen.

The service was impeccable however we were a bit disappointed with the food. We had been recommended the swordfish carpaccio and neither of us could eat it it was very pungent and fishy. I ordered the guinea fowl and it was very dry. However my daughter enjoyed her pasta and my little boy enjoyed his veal Milanese. An expensive meal that we left still quite hungry. Very charming ambiance though.

Great dining experience; agreed to the fixed menu; food was creative, several stood out, the swordfish carpaccio, the dessert. The winelist very worthy and our server most helpful sorting the right choice to the pairing. V attractive setting. Service top notch; very strong value to price. Was wife’s birthday, and they make it quite special. As Michelin guides say: ‘worth the detour’. Thanks much.

Lovely restaurant, we had the tasting menu #5 and it was delicious. Extensive wine list and very friendly and knowledgeable staff , a thoroughly enjoyable evening in Torino.

Nice environment, very attentive and good food. My risotto was al dente and full of flavor. Fish flaky and soft. Lots of different types of bread kept coming. Would come back

Gorgeous surroundings in a lovely neighbourhood of Turin. The service was amazing and the food divine! We were a family of 8 including our 9 year old and they catered to each of us individually without a problem! As we did not speak Italian the waiter was able to explain to each of us what was on the menu and advise recommendations.

This restaurant was as excellent as I remember it being 7 years ago! The service and ambiance is wonderful. The food is creative and excellent. The additional offerings between courses are delicious. There never seems to be a moment without a tasty treat beautifully presented before you! I highly recommend this lovely restaurant!

Top regional ‘cucina’ and wines, both reasonably priced. Enthousiastic and qualified staff provide good service. A reccommendation each time you visit Turin!

Great atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff. Good food except for some of the mousse- like accompaniments / sauces which lacked any discernible flavor. I think we had a fennel jelly on something but I can’t honestly remember what it was supposed to be. Same story with a peanut “jelly bean” concoction etc. Some serious rethinking necessary. All 4 members of our party shared the opinion that lack of attention to detail let the meal down. Looked great but tasted bland. Great wine recommendation.

Food is superb and with inventive dishes. Scallops with pistachio and cured ham was particularly notable. Classic Piedmonte wine list with the Alto Adige also well represented for white. Slight marks off for not taking Amex. You don’t expect that for a restaurant at this level. Excellent value.

The chefs tasting menu choices were reasonably priced and the items unique (who’d ever think of celery and cucumber in a dessert?). We chose the 5 course seafood menu which was fantastic. Two people and several glasses of wine and beer still only came to 140 euros.

the subliminal combination of local aromas and tastes, augmented with different textures, while sipping away from a very interesting Sicilian red wine made this a very special experience. we will be back
