10/10Food was delicious, service was very attentive. We were also served with little extras from the chef before and in between meals which were tasty too and added a special touch to the experience. At the end, the chef himself came to check if everything was OK. It was greatly appreciated. A big well done. We will surely return when back in Turin. Highly recommended.

10/10The service and the food was excellent. We traveled for two weeks from Rome to Portofino, to Torino, Milano and Firenze. Al Garamond was our favourite restaurant of the whole trip. Bellissimo!

10/10Before our dinner at Al Garamond last Friday, we visited it twice, in 2018 and 2019. We have always been impressed with the ingenuity and quality of the food, and last Friday was as good and even better than the previous visits. Fine dining with a Sicilian twist. The hosts were gracious, friendly and informative. We also liked the humor and willingness to engage. It was a memorable and satisfying experience. We will be back, thank you.

7.5/10The service was impeccable however we were a bit disappointed with the food. We had been recommended the swordfish carpaccio and neither of us could eat it it was very pungent and fishy. I ordered the guinea fowl and it was very dry. However my daughter enjoyed her pasta and my little boy enjoyed his veal Milanese. An expensive meal that we left still quite hungry. Very charming ambiance though.

10/10Great dining experience; agreed to the fixed menu; food was creative, several stood out, the swordfish carpaccio, the dessert. The winelist very worthy and our server most helpful sorting the right choice to the pairing. V attractive setting. Service top notch; very strong value to price. Was wife’s birthday, and they make it quite special. As Michelin guides say: ‘worth the detour’. Thanks much.

8.5/10Even if we had a reservation, we had an excessive delay (25’) without being taken care of. The menu and the wine list was excellent. The waiter has been very kind to us. The atmosphere was outstanding. A restaurant of this level should pay more attention to detail. Luxury is about details.

7.5/10The constant walking back and forth in front of the tables of all of the staff was very distracting and took a lot away from the dining experience. They would walk down the aisle between the tables and then walk back in the other direction almost immediately. It was almost as if they were told to always be in motion. Also, the wine steward took a long time to figure out getting us single glasses of wine.

10/10Gorgeous surroundings in a lovely neighbourhood of Turin. The service was amazing and the food divine! We were a family of 8 including our 9 year old and they catered to each of us individually without a problem! As we did not speak Italian the waiter was able to explain to each of us what was on the menu and advise recommendations.

10/10What a wonderful experience! Here is the thank you my husband wrote (into google translator :) ) to share with our kind hosts: Kind Sirs, of course the meal has been wonderful and the wine wonderful and the chef wonderful and the presentation wonderful… all true … yet the most wonderful part our our evening is the wonderful gentlemen who have cared for us so kindly. Americans we are, lovers of the human kindness goes beyond borders of countries, and is appreciated in the heavens above. I and my wife appreciate you!

10/10This restaurant was as excellent as I remember it being 7 years ago! The service and ambiance is wonderful. The food is creative and excellent. The additional offerings between courses are delicious. There never seems to be a moment without a tasty treat beautifully presented before you! I highly recommend this lovely restaurant!

8.5/10Great atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff. Good food except for some of the mousse- like accompaniments / sauces which lacked any discernible flavor. I think we had a fennel jelly on something but I can’t honestly remember what it was supposed to be. Same story with a peanut “jelly bean” concoction etc. Some serious rethinking necessary. All 4 members of our party shared the opinion that lack of attention to detail let the meal down. Looked great but tasted bland. Great wine recommendation.

9.5/10Food is superb and with inventive dishes. Scallops with pistachio and cured ham was particularly notable. Classic Piedmonte wine list with the Alto Adige also well represented for white. Slight marks off for not taking Amex. You don’t expect that for a restaurant at this level. Excellent value.

9.5/10The chefs tasting menu choices were reasonably priced and the items unique (who’d ever think of celery and cucumber in a dessert?). We chose the 5 course seafood menu which was fantastic. Two people and several glasses of wine and beer still only came to 140 euros.
