8.5/10The place is very well positioned next to trevi fountain. The food is ok. Not the best italian in town but it is reasonable price and the quality matches the price. Portions are not big, just fine for a lunch/dinner.

10/10Staff were great and accommodating, food was lovely - huge portions! Not too expensive considering the location is very close to the Trevi Fountain. Would definitely recommend.

9/10Considering that Al Picchio is located in such a tourist hot spot, the quality and value of the food came as a very welcome surprise. Service was friendly and helpful, portions were generous and in general the restaurant exceeded our expectations. The only downside was one very noisy table, a lack of good manners from those diners, and something outside the control of the restaurant. We arrived half an hour late (allow extra time for traffic jams) but Al Picchio generously gave us the Fork discount. Well recommended.

10/10You simply MUST try the "quattro formaggi gnocchi"! My parents found this gem of a restaurant on their trip to Rome. When we visited with our children and friends a week later, we knew it would be a guaranteed delight. In fact, we loved it so much we returned the next day! The owners are brothers, Andrea and Maximilliano, who are delightful. Our server, Antonio, was exceptional... and did I mention the fabulous location? It's only a few yards from the Trevi fountain - Perfezione!

10/10All Picchio ! Right down the street from our hotel and we only found it on the last night! What a shame as it was great, especially our friendly waiter who really took care of us. The supli (fried rice balls) were great and my gnocchi bolognese was outstanding. Topped it off with a nice ice cream dessert and coffee and it was a great ending to a great 7 days in Roma! Arrivederci Roma!!!

10/10Excellent. Rome in August can be hectic. This restaurant is so close to the Trevi Fountain, you feel part of the buzz, but not right in it. Food and service were great.

3/10I didn’t like the atmosphere, it wasn’t very nice. The food also was normal, nothing in particular. At the end they asked for cash and they didn’t accept the card, their reason was also because of the discount.

9.5/10Jimmy was our waiter and he was FANTASTIC! He made us feel like we were celebrities. He had a great sense of humor and recommended delicious meals and pairings with wine. We were not disappointed! It is a MUST to eat here during your visit to Rome.

10/10Great food. Best carbonara that I ate in Rome. Wine list selection was okay and the recommendation from the stuff were spot on. Really nice atmosphere. Would recommend 100% worth the money.

5.5/10Pasta tasted like it came out of a jar. Pizza tasted like ready made oven pizzas from a bad student life. Price was okay. Service was lovely. Felt like you were eating on the side of the street (which you were, could have done with umbrella and a little barrier to feel private)
