10/10A restaurant defined by surprises. The unassuming location means u may not know you’re in front of the restaurant while standing outside. Dishes are planted and constructed for unexpected moments. The tasting menu included 25 separately plated bite sized items - each small and deceptively hiding their underlying complexity. Every item on the menu showed effortless balance in composition. Execution and delivery was flawless. The restaurant is small, and tables are within earshot of each other. The kitchen has a large window for the food to be passed - meaning working noise can be heard but the kitchen staff are professional and quiet; so the patrons are really the only source of sound. The standout dishes were the starters and desserts. I honestly think the food is of 2 Michelin star quality, but the restaurant may get pulled down a bit by its ambience. Add the fact that it’s reasonably priced for the quality and it becomes a better value proposition for a family or couple. If you prioritise the quality and preparation of food over the fancy setting around you, this is definitely worth a stop.

10/10Food was amazing, really good flavors, excellent presentation, and the servers are so kind and friendly. They explained all the dishes in detail and provided the best service I’ve ever seen in a restaurant! 😄

10/10Amazing dining experience, one of the best meals we’ve ever had! I would recommend only doing the 3 or 5 course, not the 7 course, as the 7 course was soooo much food we could not eat it all!

10/10From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, which was intimate and quietly elegant, the entire staff was extremely attentive and welcoming. Each dish was beautifully presented in an interesting fashion with a description of the delight that we were about about to experience. The food was imaginative, unexpected and above all delicious! The owner and chef graciously came out to greet our party which was a wonderful personal touch. The experience a significant highlight of our trip!

10/10The food is amazing, and the service is impeccable as well. They made us feel welcome and made the restaurant environment intimate and comfortable. Through the book “Mon libain”, we learned about and deeply appreciate Chef Geaan’s story and the passion he puts into his work. A wonderful experience!

10/10Highly recommend, we had the 7 course taster, it was all delicious, and lots of little in between nibbles, lost track of what course we were on, was three and a half hours of food heaven, staff were delightful and very informative on all the food they served. Definitely worth a visit, we didn’t leave hungry ????????

10/10Absolutely fabulous from start to finish. Excellent and friendly service; everything explained and questions answered without a hint of condescension. Amazingly creative and delicious food. Lovely, understated atmosphere and background music. The whole experience was fun! Highly recommend and looking forward to a return visit.

9.5/10What an incredible find! Perhaps the best meal I have eaten esp. with the wine pairings at the price point for this Michelin restaurant. Whimsical, well-crafted, intimate. My party of 6 is still raving about the night 2 weeks later.
