Made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived by our host, my apologies I cannot remember his name. Menu was explained with very clear instructions that paella is for minimum of two and price is per person. We ordered two starters and was probably the best squid I’ve ever tasted. Garlic shrimp was excellent as well. We ordered chicken and rabbit and a seafood paella. Chicken and rabbit could have done with some meat as only a few pieces but the taste was very good. Some reviews have said it is too salty and my daughter did find it a bit salty. Seafood paella was amazing, no complaints as to the quantity of shrimps and squid and the taste was amazing. Was a perfect end following our sunset boat ride and seconds from the bus stop for our return journey back to Ruzafa.

They were very nice, very efficient. Food was very good. We were eating outside and when we finished, it was raining they told us to wait for our taxi inside. They also ordered a taxi upon my request.
AlbuferaGracias por su valoracion. Atentamente, el equipo del Restaurante Albufera.

Everything was great. The staff are very friendly and attentive, and obviously take pride in the service they provide. The atmosphere is relaxed, with big windows overlooking some of the rice fields. The food was delicious. We ordered a few appetizers and then the paella Albufera. I also have celiac disease and the staff were aware of what safety precautions to take and knew exactly which dishes I could and could not have. I cheerfully recommend Restaurante La Albufera to anyone who loves good food!

We were traveling through Spain for the Christmas holiday, and I was wanting to try a well rated authentic arroceria. We had great service and the paella was everything I hoped it would be. Everyone was so friendly, explaining the menu and explaining the dishes in English for us.

Service was very slow. No in the staff speaks English, even though they know we didn’t understand Spanish they spoke fast and a lot in Spanish to us. They were quite aggressive selling starters at the begging. They was super expensive and of bad quality. I don’t recommend having them. Then we had a lobster paella, the lobster was not fresh and tasted fermented. We couldn’t eat the lobster but had the rice. They credited the lobster paella after pointing this out. However the experience was not good and I can’t recommend the restaurant. I would like to recommend the village it self though . A cute place and full of restaurants of better quality than this one. This one have good opening hours though so you might end up here anyway because of that and you will survive! With right expectations and money to spend, it can even be enjoyable.

One of the best restaurants to savour a real good paella Valenciana. Have visited this restaurants several times since I have been living in Valencia. Never been disappointed!

The worst Paella I have ever tried… We order 3 paellas and all of them were undercooked salty and simply terrible overall… Service was pushy and tricking to sell us the more expensive dishes… Will never go back again…

This is a very good restaurant but the prices are really high, too much in my opinion.

From the reviews we were expecting better. Thecwaiter wasn’t helpful or pleasant throughout the meal. We started with Gambas which were okay but €30 for 6 prawns… the lamb cutlets had about an ounce of meat on €15 and I have the cutlets regularly and I know that the lambs has very little meat on but this was ridiculous and embarrassing to even serve. We then had the paella albufera there own paella which was nice … I did see other dishes coming out that looked okay….. just not the cutlets I think o was just a bad day for cutlets ! Overall worth visiting however quiet expensive and very commercial for Spain … the restaurant was very clean and we sat out side in the square which was pleasant however the inside views over the rice fields looked better and it’s a huge restaurant to accommodate 150+ covers. 7/10

This was an unpleasant and disappointing experience. They forgot about half of our order (pork) and never remembered. The appetiser (bread with tomato sauce) they also forgot -we reminded them and it arrived at the very end of the meal. The fish was very dry and grilled vegetables undercooked and completely un-edible. The staff and cooks in this place were clearly overworked and overwhelmed. This poses the question: why did they offer the reservation with discount if their place was so busy? The waiting time was extremely long, service poor and quality of food is the worst I had in Valencia in my two weeks here.

The restaurant is in an excellent location on a cute plaza. The food was great and the staff was absolutely wonderful! They went well beyond typical service, and made our evening one to remember.
