Truly an excellent restaurant featuring the specialties of the Valencian region. Family owned and attended to is always a plus for the experience. I asked the staff what I wanted and they were very attentive to my requests. The rice dishes , seafood & fish options are excellent, Appetizer's are a wide range of choices and wine list is excellent. The food is prepared with great attention to detail. I highly recommend the restaurant for the authentic local experience in the Albufera de Valencia.

This restaurant was a great find. It looks and feels very modern - from the colour pallete of the walls and dishes to the QR code menu every detail adds on to the experience. The food is second to none - the seafood Paella was the best I've eaten so far in Spain, the aioli and the tomato sauce were perfect. The people are really welcoming and very patient with non-native Spanish speakers.

Fantastic food and wonderful service, definitely worth the trip if staying in Valencia for the weekend, you won’t find Paella like it anywhere else!! Would highly recommend!

Excellent as always. The best paella I have tasted. I always come to this restaurant when I travel to Valencia

Really tasty food. Staff were kind and accommodating. A bit slow because of the busy lunch hour but then again, it’s to be expected during August in Spain. Happy with our lunch order of Arroz Melloso de Marisco (wet paella) and the chiperonnes plancha. Note: certain rice dishes on the menu require a bit of prep time and advance notice. The restaurant was kind enough to email us on the morning of our booking to make sure. Would return again next time we’re in the area!

Friendly staff, great atmosphere- really buzzy (& fully on Monday lunchtime) and the Dodd was amazing. Both in terms of value (we went for menu de dia 18.50E) and superb quality. The Esgarraet ( salted cod on red pepper) was absolutely delicious and the paella did not disappoint in any way. Highly recommended

I can't recommend this place highly enough. Truly wonderful. We had a traditional paella with pato (duck) , rabbit and caracoles (snails). It's a really smart restaurant and the service was superb. I was so pleased.

If we could give the service an 11+ we would! Everyone is very friendly - muy amable! El Sequer de Tonica is lovely spot away from all of the tourist spots, with comfortable seating indoors and out, and wonderful food and presentation. I had the tartare de atún and my husband the paella with chicken and rabbit - both so fresh and delicious. We were served a little boca to start, and a bit of cake with a digestif to end a very memorable experience.

Lovely location away from the loud traffic of some of the other restaurants in the area. Food was quite good and they were very helpful making something to avoid my allergies.
