Delicious and creative dishes in a room with lovely ambiance. Some very minor issues: (1) although I speak some Spanish, the wait staff spoke in heavily accented English which was difficult for us to completely understand in terms of course descriptions; and (2) the sommelier apparently has not adapted to the current wine trend of making the wine experience more fun and approachable; he was a bit of a know-it-all and condescension adds nothing to an overall pleasant dining experience.

The tasting menu was a journey through flavor, technique, and imagination. Each dish was a harmonious blend of artistry and precision, showcasing seasonal ingredients in ways that surprised and delighted. The wine pairing was impeccably curated, elevating each course with selections that demonstrated deep knowledge and a keen sense of balance. The sommelier was both insightful and approachable, adding another layer of richness to the evening.

This was a consummate Michelin Star dining experience in every aspect: food, ambiance, service.

Beautiful setting with perfect service. Food was very delicious. Some dishes more memorable than others. Seared scallop in cream/cava, tuna 'flower' and desserts were stand outs. Felt like the meal was 1-2 courses too long. We felt overfed and that made our overall experience more negative.

We had a wonderful evening in this restaurant,it was my and my husband‘s birthday that night, and the waiters offered a very good service, they helped us to take photos and cut a cake for us.Unfortunately,we forgot to give tips which I am sorry about that until now,I hope we can come back one day and make up for it.

Visited Barcelona for the first time for convention and wanted to do a nice meal for my group. We had a 7:30 reservation on Tuesday evening and walked into a strangely empty restaurant. The ambiance was clean and chic, and the service team did a great job of explaining how the tasting experience would go. The meal itself was great, with some major hits like the tuna and radish with a clear tomato juice to the impeccably executed snapper. By the end of the 10 course, 15 dish meal, we were so full we were barely able to walk away from the table. Who says you can’t get full off of fine dining?? Overall, we had a great dining experience with plenty of wow factor. Definitely recommend Aleia for a special occasion!

Exceptional! Great wines and food.

400€+ for two menus and 2 cups of cava each. The langoustines were amazing. Everything else felt OK. If this was a 70€ menu it would have been fine. But at 170, I feel like I could have spent that money for two better experiences in Barcelona.

An amazing evening with amazing food!

Michelin quality food, but service was not impressive, not at a level of a 1star, uniforms where not tailored, and wait staff looked bored

Overall a really good experience. Food was certainly Michelin quality. Portions were perfectly sized. Staff was friendly. Somm would not admit that one wine was corked. Open the same bottle and it was beautiful. I’d rather they just agree with the customer and move on. She needs some training. Beautiful decor. Would go back for sure.

From the moment I stepped in I was well looked after. Paula, my hostess, greeted me warmly and took me to where "we have prepared your table". The tasting menu was introduced and wine pairings discussed. The food was served impeccably and was a culinary trip to heaven. Anchored in local flavors and ingredients, Chef Rafa draws on French as well as oriental influences. Every dish in a sequence of 15 was a culinary adventure and delight. The service never wavered from attentive and warm. A superb experience.

It was a great experience and an interesting journey between tradition and innovation. Still a small step to perfection but definitely worth a visit!

Great service and wine pairing. You don’t know the menu until you get it on the table. Couple of things were not my type of food - for example a bone , chicken hearts or a piece of a bird meat (too raw). But all this is very personal. Overall high quality , great vegetarian dishes and wine. Location is very beautiful and fits the mood.
