Lovely interior. Easy to reserve. Excellent service that was professional and friendly, without being too formal. We had a multi-course meal and everything, without exception, was fresh, flavorful and beautifully presented. The menu offered some items you expect from an Italian seafood restaurant, and enough unique choices to have a more adventuresome culinary experience.

A higher end restaurant. Pretty dining room, although some of the artwork is kind of hideous. Service was very courteous and professional although I thought that the staff failed convey the warmth and welcome that I associate with Puglia. Food was very good. Risotto was exceptional. Additional seasonal menu of dishes with white or black truffles was fairly priced. Overall prices were not cheap but good value for the quality and presentation. I had been postponing dining here because I had heard mixed reviews from friends; however I was duly impressed by the experience and will likely return soon.

2 Starters: scallops and taglione both delicious....but overpriced. 2 mains: A few scampi in breadcrumbs sitting on some lettuce leaves...30euro. Veal cheek with spinach.....all too salty 30euro. Again massively overpriced. Pistachio ice cream for dessert was very nice. Bottle of Rose wine at 25e also very nice. An occasional smile from staff wouldn't go astray. Will definitely not be going back. Love Lecce though.

The food was very good, but the service was a little slow and they didn’t come around to the table to see if we needed anything. We ordered a fish that they said weighed 1400 grams, and when we got the bill, it was 1650 grams. I think they should have weighed the fish before they told us the weight.

We have been 3 days/nights in Lecce and we went to Alex Ristorante 4 (four!!!!) times. It is simply the best for us. It's the atmosphere, it's the service, it's the quality of food, it's the boss with eyes everywhere and it's his nice wife he is "hiding" in the kitchen as the Chef of the kitchen. Thank you for the time we could spend in your Ristorante. Franz and Claudia, we come again on August 31, 2023.....

Items described on the menu not matching the food on the table - “Suckling pig” was an ordinary “porchetta”. All communication with the stuff went out the door. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place - there are many places around this place, where you could get a delicious food at a fraction of the cost and a great service too

Impeccabile service. Amazing fresh raw seafood, expanse wine selection and let’s not talk about the homemade lemon spaghetti with shrimp tartar and stracciatella cheese… can’t wait to visit beautiful Lecce again.

This was planned as our big night out in Lecce, it was by far the most overpriced meal of our 3 week long trip. The portions were so small, the service starchy and the the environment bland. we paid 70 euros for a seafood platter that had two prawns, two scampi and a few slices of squid. Overall I would recommend going to anywhere else!

The restaurant is beautiful and beautifully furnished. The lighting is cozy and relaxing. The service was appropriate for the restaurant. The only gray spot is the price that seems to be too steep for the overall experience.

The menu was so intriguing we decided to have two starters each and then a dish called Watercolor Risotto. Surprisingly the starters all came at once. That was a little odd. Good thing the egg with truffle, the cod carpaccio, the ceviche and the anchovies with Gorgonzola (what? Yes!) were all beautiful dishes. But our Primo was otherworldly. Turns out Chef Alexandra is a genius. Her Risotto smelled deliciously of the smoked tea it was prepared with, and on top lay the softest, most delicate piece of prawn. Never had such perfect al dente risotto. Also loved the Puglia chardonnay that the sommelier picked for us.

It was fine. Way way way over priced for mediocre food. Soooooo not worth it. If it was half the price then yes definately worth it. €25 for a primo in milan, i would have left the restaurant thinking ‘wow’ but instead this food was just ‘ok’… so over rated!!!
