One of the waiters (a man with short hair and glasses) was extremely rude and unfortunately ruined what should have been a special evening. I live in Barcelona and my family were visiting on Saturday 14 March because my sister was running the marathon, so it was an important weekend for us. I was especially looking forward to dinner as I lived in Italy for several years and wanted to take them to what seemed like a great Italian restaurant. The first woman who served us was very kind and even let us change tables, which we appreciated. However, while my dad was deciding what to order, the waiter with glasses said loudly in Italian, “Ugh, it’s taking them four hours to order.” I speak fluent Italian and responded in Italian so he knew I had understood. We had only been ordering for about two minutes. Speaking about customers like that within earshot is extremely disrespectful. Another waiter later served us and he was very kind, but the behaviour of the waiter with glasses ruined it.
