We had a lovely lunch. Service was friendly the shrimp Algarve sauce was bread dipping worthy. Overall great lunch and will return.

The atmosphere was pleasant and the service genuinely good — staff were attentive, polite, and professional, which I appreciated. However, the pricing felt very high for what was offered. Portions were noticeably small, and the location overlooks a main street rather than the beach or sea, so there was no view that might justify the premium prices. Given the combination of portion size, setting, and overall value, the prices did not feel proportionate. In summary: nice ambiance and good service, but the cost-to-value balance did not meet expectations.

Bostjan, thanks for the note about our staff — we take service seriously. On the rest: our prices reflect what we actually serve — fresh, high-quality products, careful preparation, and a small kitchen doing everything properly, not “bulk restaurant” portions. Our portion sizes are intentionally balanced (especially for seafood and premium ingredients), and our menu/prices are clearly shown before ordering. Also, the “no sea view” point isn’t something we sell or charge for — we’re not a beachfront venue, and we don’t pretend to be. If you’re looking mainly for large portions at the lowest price, we’re probably not the right place — and that’s okay. If you’d like to share exactly what you ordered, we can respond more specifically.

Fantastic food and very well looked after by the Alma team to deliver a superb experience. There are many great places to eat in Quarteira, but Alma do Algarve was my clear favourite and we made sure to have it as the final dinner of our holiday

Really enjoyed this place! Excellent service – attentive and friendly staff. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant, definitely a spot I’d love to come back to.
