Not so sure about the taste of locals, but for me mostly too salty. Not enough space to sit comfortably as fully occupied by table and chairs and you need to stand up for some customers to pass by while you are eating.

Relativamente ao espaço do restaurante, dependendo da hora ou onde se sentou pode ter mesmo que se levantar. Apesar de querermos resolver essa situação é muito complicado resolver. Aconselho a vir em horas mais calmas terá muito espaço para ficar à vontade. A sua visita é sempre bem vinda.

The staff was so nice and attentive. It was off of beaten path and full of local flavor. It smells so good when we walked in the door, we just knew it would be good. I had the grilled chicken, which was amazing. 2 of my colleagues had the octopus. They loved it. One of the group had fish, and it was so fresh and tasty. Just the right amount so that we were full, but not overly stuffed. Excellent value for the cost. Staff was really friendly and made us feel at home

The service staff were excellent and extremely friendly. Nice little restaurant with very local feel. In our case, the food was not so great - my cod was very overcooked and my wife's seafood rice soup seemed to have rather a lot of synthetic crab sticks amongst the fresh seafood. however, dishes going to other tables looked good, especially the octopus.

I am travelling with my boyfriend in Lisbon and I went to Alto Minho twice in three days. Brilliant!! Absolutely worth it!!! The best food we had for the whole holiday. The seafood rice is my favourite (10/10) but my bf fav is the octopus salad (9.5/10). Very decent price with great size of food and wine:) I barely leave any review for restaurant but this one deserves a good review!

This is a small family run place. We had excellent seafood - the shrimp and garlic appetizer, grilled salmon, grilled squid - and a mixed salad and some of the house wine. We are staying in the neighborhood and will certainly go back again.

The family who owns this restaurant were very welcoming. Carlos is an amazing person, who made us laugh and knew how to make sure our sea bass was cooked perfectly. His sense of humor made our evening very enjoyable. Thank you to him and the family. Highly recommended

Nice service, can be a bit slow just cause they're always so busy but the staff are friendly and get to you as soon as they can. Food is yummy! Recommend trying their clams and grilled octopus.

The best part about this place was the fact that the owner and her daughter served us throughout our meal! The rest of the staff was fun and attentive, as well. They made recommendations and took great care of us. We really wanted a more authentic Portuguese experience, and we’re so glad we found this gem!

This place is small, but super authentic and so good. The price is super affordable also, and the staff is so friendly. I love coming here when I am in Lisbon, it is one of my favourite places to have dinner.

Too busy and we were placed by the entry door with hardly no leg room right at the fridge with no space for the staff to open the door to the fridge. I had to move my chair every time the staff went for stuff from the fridge. Ordered the “polvo”, but the cod fish was served. With an excuse…. The bottle of red Douro was served at 30 degrees celcius. Clearly the staff was under pressure this night. Felt a bit like Faulty Towers in Lisbon.

This is a fabulous neighborhood restaurant. Staff are very welcoming and the most helpful I have come across in a long time. There is a great range of dishes, including Portuguese specialities. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We were looking for an authentic Portuguese restaurant close to our hotel. This is a family run business and we loved it so much that we went back again the next night. Part owner Carlos was so funny and friendly, we absolutely loved engaging with him! His wife was lovely and let us try a sample of octopus, which was very delicious and our waiter Guy was so personable and funny! We had a hoot with him! We loved our experience, the food was very delicious and would absolutely return again and again!!

I picked this restaurant after reading so many positive reviews. I have to say this place exceeded my expectation. I have never eaten better octopus and the creamy cod was absolutely amazing. If you visit Lisbon, this restaurant is a must to visit if you want to try delicious fresh sea food. Highly recommend!
