I have travelled to many countries in the world, so I have tried many types of restaurants/ eateries during this time. Out of all, Alto Minho stand out is the most authentic and reasonably priced restaurant I have come across during my life life. It is a tiny place. But, it is always full (I visited the place two days during the week for dinner) so, you must prepared to compromise when it's come to seating arrangements because tables are arranged very close to gether. However, for your sacrifice, you will be rewarded with delectable food will never forget. This is a family run business and they all very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place!

Love this place. It’s become a tradition every time we are in Lisbon. Food is always fresh and delicious, staff treats you like family… never disappoints.

The restaurant feels more like it’s for tourists than locals. The food looked nice, but the taste wasn’t what we expected. Most of the dishes were too salty, and overall the flavor didn’t feel authentic.

This is a tiny,crowded restaurant with really good food and service. Somehow the servers make a wonderful experience in a small space. Reasonable prices and nothing fancy, just great food and a very thoughtful staff

Was in Portugal in June for vacation. This restaurant was just down the street from our hotel. Small place, good reviews, so we decided to try it. This place was the dinner highlight for us in Lisboa. First, service was fantastic, I forgot our servers name but I recall the young lady said she spent time in New Jersey ( sorry I forgot your name), and a young man named Pedro. Both attentive, polite and accommodating as they needed to be as I may have gotten a little loud by the second bottle of wine. We met a local named Richard who was happy to talk with us and offer suggestions which were all great, especially the wine!! We each had a different dish from the menu, clams for an appetizer, desert coffee and of course, more wine. Everything here was outstanding. A great local spot in Lisboa, make a reservation and get some tasty food. If you pass on this place you are missing out.
