10/10Superb restaurant. We came here 3 times during our week's stay. Fabulous food and the most wonderful staff that were attentive and great fun. If you come to Perugia, you MUST visit here.

2.5/10From the moment we arrived, we felt hurried. We were seated and given menus very quickly. My wife excused herself to the bathroom right away. While she was gone, and while I was perusing the menu, a waitress came and served each of us a complimentary bean dish. Now I am alone at the table, trying to look at my menu, without setting it into the bean dish. Soon after my wife returned, and before she had looked at her menu, and trying to keep it out of the bean dish, a waitress appeared and wanted to take our order. We told her we had not yet reviewed the menu. She seemed somewhat perturbed, but agreed to come back. She returned just a few minutes later. My wife was ready to order, but I was not. I asked for her to come back again, and this time she seemed rather put out. After placing our orders, our food arrived too quickly to have been prepared fresh, and it had likely been sitting around for a while. My wife found hers to be unpalatable and sent it back. This diner was a bust.

10/10The owner was very welcoming and the food and service were excellent! This was by far the best restaurant we have experienced over our 2 week stay in Italy. It was so good we actually went back a second time!

9/10Loved the parpardelle al cinghiale. And the suppli (arancini) appetizer was delicious too. Don't make a lunch reservation later than 1:30 to avoid being rushed.

10/10Enthusiastic young staff with the hands-on owner making sure everything was perfect. Excellent menu options (plus English translation) and food. Perfect evening. Mostly Italian clientele.

10/10I visited this restaurant on my first evening in Perugia as a solo traveller. I was a little anxious but the staff quickly put me at ease and helped me deal with the menu. I thought it was perfect, super flavoursome food including some house tasters. The house wine was good and I appreciated the artisan bread. It was busy and some might consider it a little noisy but I would rather be in an environment where people are relaxing and enjoying company of friends and the food rather than a quiet refined dining experience. I ate at several restaurants during my week in Perugia but I went to Altromondo twice.

7.5/10The food was really good. Very tasty and well presented. I would have given it a 5, but one waitress were a bit clueless and unfriendly although the others were fine, and it was noisy – especially as someone had brought their dog who would suddenly bark. But considering there was a large group celebrating a birthday the food came quite quickly, and as previously stated, it was delicious.
