10/10Excellent food — a memorable first visit. We went there for the first time and were not disappointed. The ambiance is relaxed, set in a beautiful and inviting space. The menu is thoughtfully balanced, and each dish is artfully presented without feeling over-engineered - but very fine. From start to finish, every course was a pleasure. I began with the sardine/crab starter — excellent — followed by pork shoulder and lamb, both perfectly cooked. The flavors were spot-on: refined yet approachable, never confusing, and never dull. For dessert, I tried the Portuguese cheese — very good, though I typically prefer dry French cheeses, so I can’t offer a fair comparison. Although I don’t know much about Portuguese wines, the sommelier did a fantastic job pairing each course. The Acores white is just amazing. Well done to the chef and the entire team — we thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

Spectacular in every way. Food phenomenal. Beautifully presented along with exceptional service on all levels. A must try for sure, you won’t be disappointed. Fixed price menu is great value considering the quality and standards. Can’t wait to return. Thank you!

A lovely place with a warm atmosphere and great service. We tried the four-course tasting menu with dessert, and every dish was beautifully balanced in flavors and textures. The Portuguese wine pairings were a perfect match for each course, making the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant is easy to find, simple to book, and has convenient parking nearby. Pricing is reasonable for this level of cuisine compared to other restaurants in the region. A perfect spot for those who appreciate flavor and wine pairings. Definitely worth a visit!

The team led by Daniela makes this an amazing dining experience. The quality and imaginative food is always excellent and the wine pairing allows you to experience wines you might not otherwise choose. Good value for money given the quality.

Exceptional service, absolutely sensational meal and wine pairings. Thank you to the sommelier who made the evening so enjoyable for us. Also, to the head chef, who is surpassing the majority of offerings in the area. Though everything we tried was delicious, I would most recommend the Fois gras, butternut squash tortellini, crab risotto and the pork. 9/10. Very excited to return. Would highly encourage the wine pairing to elevate the experience of dining in this gem of a venue.

This, bar none, was one of the most memorable dinners we have experienced. The service was sublime, the wine was divine! I could eat their artichoke soup everyday 🤗 if you have the opportunity…… treat yourself!!

+2My very first time dining in Amara and I was very pleasantly surprised at how good the food was, so tasty and very well presented. The waiting on staff were extremely knowledgeable about the menu and wines. A stunning view over looking the golf course too. My only negative experience was the bar service. We decided to have a drink in the bar before dining, it took nearly 15 minuets to be served, staffing levels need improving! On the whole it was the best dining experience in a very long time and yes we will be back when we're in the area again. Thank you
