Hi there, We attended a Christmas sent menu today at 1:30pm for my wife and myself. We were extremely disappointed with quality of food provided and the bottle of wine we bought was absolutely horrendous. To say we are disappointed is an understatement, it’s actually completely ruins our Christmas Day as the food standard was absolutely horrific and will go down as the worse meal I’ve ever had. I was made to pay for the meal prior to visiting and if I had to pay on the day I’d have refused as it was inedible and has left myself and wife ill afterwards. We did not say anything during our visit to be polite but I couldn’t let this go without comment as saying this has been the worse experience of my life. I’d like a full refund please . I hope you understand that I didn’t want to cause a scene at the restaurant and stay professional hence my email regarding this issue. I think the standards of your food should mirror the lovely setting of the hotel. Kind regards Rhys Jones

The menu is almost exclusively design dishes, both delicious and creative. The staff were very kind, the ambience tranquil and pleasant. The wine menu is limited, and even then they didn't have the simple Chardonnay we requested. The wine glasses were plastic. Other than that, the experience was a good one!

Regarding your comments on our wine service, I would like to gently clarify a few points to ensure there wasn't a misunderstanding during your visit: We actually take great pride in our cellar, which features over 100 different labels, including a wide variety of sparkling wines, whites, reds, and rosés.It is very important to us to mention that we do not use or serve wine in plastic glasses. We exclusively use high-quality glassware to ensure the best tasting experience. It is possible that the specific design or weight of the glass used for your table felt different, but we assure you it was glass. We truly hope to see you again soon . A huge hello from Anavà Crew !

The inspiration for the menu was shared by the server, who also explained each exquisite dish. We enjoyed each of the 7 courses of the tasting menu. We highly recommend this restaurant for the ultimate food tasting experience.

An amazing restaurant with wonderful waiters and a talented chef. The food was excellent, and the dishes prepared by the chef were truly outstanding. The waiters explained everything in detail and were incredibly kind. The red wine they recommended was the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommended if you visit Rome!

Best dinner we had in Rome and one of the best ones in Italy. The food is incredible, staff is very knowledgeable and explain every dish. There was a live group playing the evening we visited, and this was also nice and not overwhelming.

The service was excellent. We paid the bill at the end of dinner and then the waiter said he forgot the service charge and we had to pay again. I thought that was strange and I was unsure whether that was accurate.

We would like to clarify that what was missing was the 'coperto' (a small fixed charge per person for the table/service setting, common in Italy), which our system operator unfortunately forgot to include when the initial bill was printed. Very friendly and attentive service, with some excellent complimentary breads & amuse-bouches. Delicious carbonara and amatriciana pastas. We didn’t have space for dessert. Great mid-century modern inspired decor. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Please make sure you make a booking here - we absolutely loved everything about it! We are visiting Italy from London and came to Rome after Venice and Florence: this restaurant blew all the others we visited out of the water. I would compare this to Michelin star food at a fraction of the price. Even though we are only in Rome three nights we are seriously considering returning! Service was impeccable too. You won’t regret going.

Overall it was a good experience. Not the best carbonara in town, all other dishes were served in little time and tasted good. The assemble of homemade grisini/ bread & crisps was a very nice surprise. The bread was fantastic.

Best restaurant in Rome! this restaurant is a first class restaurant and it’s great that it’s only two months old —-because once people find out about it, it will be unavailable. Every single bite was good. Everything they gave us from the drinks to the appetizers- The servers Massimo and Jacopo were also incredible.

The food here is delicious and the staff was friendly. I really loved the modern, stylish atmosphere as well. Prices are a bit high for the portion sizes, but overall it’s a great place to enjoy a special meal.
