Anava was the best restaurant my wife and I tried in Rome. We hit all the popular places, but needed a last minute reservation for our final night. The service was perfect and the food was impeccable. From the bread service, to the caprese salad and focaccia, the pasta, and the parmigiana (highly recommend), everything was delicious. Go to Anava before it gets crowded.

Excellent food. Carbonara was fantastic. We arrived early & it was quiet but stayed that way so they need more customers to create a lively atmosphere. The interior & decor was immaculate with great views of the spotless kitchen. This is a gem with huge potential.

Hidden gem, the only actual non touristy restaurant we found during our time in Rome. Fine dining/an elevated experience with excellent service and all for a surprisingly low price.
