+1Food was good, but ambiance is missing. Very casual place, very cold in the restaurant, we ate with our jackets on. Waiter was very good. Not enough staff. Not a romantic place.

7/10This was my second visit, this time on a Saturday and busy. The food was as good as before. but yhey were short staffed and it showed. This made for a less than relaxed Saturday evening meal out.

9.5/10From the exterior ANCO just looks like a standard Brassiere, but the menu is quite different from that. My wife chose the vegetarian risotto which was beautifully presented and she loved the balance of flavours. I chose the “7hr braised beef cheek” which was soft and rich and delicious. It was served with heritage carrots a citrus gel and Parmesan & hazelnut crumb. All were very pleasant- my only criticism would be that the carrots went well with the beef. The gel went well with the carrots, but personally I wouldn’t pair a citrus gel with rich umami beef. But nevertheless I enjoyed the whole dish in its constituent parts. The 2 dishes were sufficient that we didn’t need dessert. We had a bottle of an excellent Cote de Rhône and the bill was Eu100 which I thought very reasonable for a meal that was approaching Michelin standards, but with nicely sized portions and without the pretentious of multiple tasting plates.

This restaurant is fantastic! My husband and I just finished watching the Olympic game in the Bercy arena, and we happened to find this restaurant nearby. The waiters are well-mannered and friendly, which can be quite difficult to find in France. The waiter let us choose which table we were going to be seated at, and the toilet was clean. We ordered duck breast and octopus, both dishes taste amazing and are very presentable! When I ordered one Vanilla cake, the waiter immediately asked if my husband and I were going to share it, which is very considerate. When we finished the water, the waiter noticed and changed the jar for us. The best food and service I have ever had in France so far! Highly recommended!

6.5/10Nice terrace, friendly staff. Dishes prepared at 50/60% in advance, hence either too cold or too dry, as moisture has been lost. More sauce to compensate lack of moisture (for the Paleron which was dehydrated) and more on the spot preparation (for the tartare too cold/low flavor and potatoes tepid). All in all flavors were fair, but miles away from what I would expect from a Michelin rating as announced ….
