We were a group of 4 + 2 children eating at Angelo for lunch. We ordered 4 different mains for the adults, a salat to share and a chicken with pasta for the children. We were very dissapointed by the food, which had almost no taste. No salt, peper or herbs had been usef. The portions were gigantic, which was surprising given that Angelo pretends to be a fine, upscale restaurant. The salat was simply an iceberg with tomatoes with a bit of very accid dressing. The fish came out cold, and the beef was so undercooked that blood kept running from it. The childrens' chicken was also tasteless, the meat had a rubbery feel to it, and the pasta came without any sauce whatsoever - just plain spaghetti. Overall, it felt ike some one who doesn't know how to Cook had prepared this unappealing food. But the bill was high, on total 170 Euros for probably the worst eating out experiences we've ever had. You are hereby warned!

The steak is overcooked. and so dry …………

We came back to this lovely Italian restaurant for the second time in just a week, and once again, it was an absolute delight. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, the service is flawless, and every dish is full of authentic Italian flavors – fresh, tasty, and perfectly prepared. A truly enjoyable experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!

It was great to find a table for 7 persons to eat at 8:30pm on Saturday. Food was fantastic and so did the wine! Very good ambience! All seven women had a great time

We so enjoyed our dining experience this evening. Mario made our evening great! From appetizers to entrees, everything was delicious. We had calamari, which was amazingly delicious, Veal Milanese, filet with pistachios and roasted potatoes, pasta with pomodoro and burrata, and homemade linguini with clams. Everything was amazing!

The food is excellent ! Staff were nice and welcoming. No loud music or noise, so we could socialise nicely🙂

Beautiful neighborhood in Nice, and attached to a great Hotel. But the food was over cooked on the beef meals, the veal was greasy. All was under seasoned to our taste, but corrected at the table.

We had the carpaccio of tomatoes beef tataki and gambas salad. All were very good and tasty Service was quick and friendly

Very Good Service; however, food is average and choice is limited

Good food and service ok. We were given a nice table and then had a couple with 2 barking dogs who appeared to be residents sat next to us. That was not good!
