We had pasta, which was wonderful. Our waitress was the best and most friendly we’ve had in Florence. Love Anima Osteria❤️

The food was mild and well-balanced rather than overly seasoned, and I appreciated its clean flavors. The service was friendly.

The environment was nice and cozy. The food taste and quality were also satisfying. The only small issue is the prices shown on the fork and the actual prices at the restaurant. The Fiorentina steak was not 5.5€/hg but 7.0€/hg. So the prices misunderstanding was kinda misleading.

This restaurant is only Italian by name. Menu has Italian dishes & sounds & looks Italian but there wasn’t 1 Italian worker in the entire restaurant. This is a wannabe Italian restaurant with wannabe Italian dishes. DO NOT GO HERE looking for authentic Italian food. The food sucks.

Cute small restaurant. Nice variety of dishes on antipasti, primi and secondi. Seafood appetizer was nearly a full meal like cioppino. We had ordered 3 appetizers between the two of us and waiter suggested two were plenty along with our two pasta dishes. He was certainly right! They were making hand made pastas in the front window as we came in. Light bright and cheery atmosphere and we will certainly be back. Located on Via Guella between Via Cavour and Via de’ Ginori between Accademia and Duomo.

We had the most amazing time in this restaurant. It was a special evening so we wanted to really spoil us with our meal. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, patiently advising us on the entire meal. The advise was informed and well meaning. In some restaurants the staff will simply advise you to take the most expensive option, but in this case the recommended wine was not the most expensive and actually a perfect fit for the meal (i regret not asking for the name of the amazing rose i drank) I also have to mention the steak my partner ate. It was probably the best steak i ever tried and my boyfriend also couldn’t stop talking about it. I fear I’ll have to pause my vegetarianism for a meal at this restaurant again someday. (Even though they serve many vegetarian options and my meal that day was also extremely delicious!) We had a terrific evening and will definitely return on our next visit to firenze. Many thanks to the lovely staff!

We had a wonderful lunch at Anima Osteria Italiana. Super friendly staff with excellent English, great choice of drinks and superb fresh pasta.d The culurgiones were a highlight. Highly recommended.

There people that work here are very sweet. We were able to sit in the garden which was nice. The food was great, especially the dish with 3 different type of beef on a hot plate. Could really recommend this place

We were lucky enough to wander in here for dinner on our 1st night in Florence - loved it so much we came back 2 weeks later for our last dinner. Food, service, wine were all delicious! Loved the salmon carpaccio, risotto delicious, pasta vongle had the tastiest clams! Our server was so sweet and both times helped us pick out a delicious local wine. On our next trip to Florence we will be sure to stop in again - thank you!!

I went early and found this restaurant by the reviews. The spaghetti was to die for, the steak excellent, and the best Cosmopolitans I’ve ever had. So I had three. :) Not far from the Accademia. Check it out.

The food here was really good. I didn’t get our server’s name but she was perfect in explaining every dish we got and gave her honest opinion about what’s the better dish. Her service was definitely memorable for us. Would visit again!

We stayed at an AirBnB on Via dei Servi. We tried several restaurants in the vicinity and this had the best food. The menu is smaller than many but the food itself was very high quality and delicious. I highly recommend.

Because it would be Christmas Eve, we found that several of the top recommended restaurants in Florence would not be open or were already fully booked. So, we took our chances that the reviews for Anima Osteria were reliable and made a late lunch reservation. We were not disappointed in the food or in the service. In fact, we were more than pleased with both. The menu offered some creative choices and the wine list was more than sufficient without getting overly pricey. The restaurant was within easy walking distance of the train station and the Duomo and all of the city center locations. It was small, but comfortable and clean with invitingly set tables.

Excellent food! The seafood stew was super flavourful and the lasagna was the best I’ve ever had. Friendly service and nice ambience. Recommend!
