9.5/10Because it would be Christmas Eve, we found that several of the top recommended restaurants in Florence would not be open or were already fully booked. So, we took our chances that the reviews for Anima Osteria were reliable and made a late lunch reservation. We were not disappointed in the food or in the service. In fact, we were more than pleased with both. The menu offered some creative choices and the wine list was more than sufficient without getting overly pricey. The restaurant was within easy walking distance of the train station and the Duomo and all of the city center locations. It was small, but comfortable and clean with invitingly set tables.

10/10Every once in awhile you come across a restaurant that you know you will remember. For us, this is definitely one of them. Great food, amazing service, really just a step above the rest. We will dream about coming back!

10/10Food was excellent. Carbonara was delicious. Has the bistecca which was perfectly cooked and very tender. The bruschetta pomodora was perfect. The owner and staff were very inviting and friendly. Service was great.

10/10An amazing Michelin-worthy dinner at @anima_osteria_italiana. We shared Tortelli Mugallani, a Florentine Steak with roasted potatoes, salad, tiramisu, and millefogli, along with some wonderful Italian red wines! The service was amazing and the food was incredible! If you ever find yourself in Florence, we highly recommend.

10/10The service was amazing, the staff so friendly and great to talk to about the food and restaurant. The food, well amazing...the chef is very talented and does some amazing things with the menu. This place is a must try, a new restaurant but people need to go and experience this delicious food and great service!
