The service was excellent. Our server was very friendly and made recommendations. We decided to go with a Florentine steak because my husband had been seeing it eaten at so many other restaurants. Perhaps it’s not their specialty but the steak was very tough to chew and just not good quality. Great flavor but incredibly difficult to eat. We expected more for 95 euros. I’m marking them down a star in service because at the end of the meal, we were disappointed that he asked if we wanted to leave a tip. It was our last meal in Europe after 3 weeks and nobody had ever asked that from us. It was disappointing. That said, their pastas looked delicious and portion sizes were generous, and the service is friendly. Does seem to cater to tourists if that is an issue for some. It was also a little on pricey side for what it is. We had other great meals for a lot less.

Had a great food experience in this restaurant! Parma ham and juicy and sweet melon and tasty lasagna were amazing!

Clearly when we mentioned The Fork , we were treated like “dumb Americans “. Ordered fried antipasto ( with cod fish) and received platter with mostly chicken nuggets. Waited for dinner for 40 minutes, while people around us ate before. Caccio e Pepe was plain pasta with an overload of Parmesan, not at all what we know from other places. Then, the check arrived with 20%off instead of 50% and I needed to argue with the manager. She was very nice, and fixed the bill, but it was not a good experience overall.

I’m sorry to say that the staff was cranky and the were not interested in us who was a paying customer. The food was okay and the wine of the house tasted like cherry lemonad. But we are full and satisfied anyway because we enjoyed company.

Terrible shrimp risotto, totally salty and almost without prawns. The pasta was disappointing as well, without sauce.

The food was not bad, but the service was horrible. First a guy received us with and he looked like he didn't wanted to work. We ordered two pizzas and we received one pizza and a pasta, it was late and they already took half an hour to make it, so we let it pass. But then comes the worst part. The tables are VERY close, and the owner seats in the table next to us and begins to smoke (with of course, all the smoke going into our face and food) and talk very loudly on the phone. I think it was very disrespectful. Then they charged us 10€ for 2 cokes and 5€ for water. Can't recommend this place. Very disappointing.

Salve mi dispiace ma lei sta dicendo cose false . 1) il servizio costa 2 euro ( come scritto sullo scontrino che dovrebbe pubblicare , così vediamo se lei e’ un bugiardo . 2) in Italia all’esterno e’ consentito fumare , poteva chiedere ai camerieri di farle cambiare tavoli, perché noi all’esterno del ristorante non possiamo impedire di fumare . 3) se le c’è stato un errore nell’ordinazione purtroppo può capitare io non ero sul posto non posso giudicare ma a volte può succedere quando c’è molta gente , qualche errore nella gestione dell’ordinazione . Per questa Ultima motivazione mi scuso a nome di Ristorante ma si poteva risolvere il problema parlando con un responsabile o al Cameriere 4) i nostri camerieri sono sempre molto cordiali e gentili , probabilmente c’è stato un problema linguistico !!

ive been here several times already. So, I was really surprsied with the poor service we received this time.I am not sure if we were treated differently because we booked thru the fork. We were not even halfway through with the appetizer, they already served the first plate (main dish). We had no choice but to stop eating the appetizer and moved right away to the pasta (the pasta should be eaten hot, freshly cooked).

The food was very good but they didn’t want to extend a promised 20% discount which they agreed to and they charged us 18 euros for 1/2 liter of house wine—we felt we were cheated.
