What a surprise! In the middle of nowhere a restaurant that treats you to amuse bouche, three different bread services and petit fours at the same end. Food is deliciously local. Only drawback is that it takes a looong time…

What a extraordinary find, just minutes from our b and b in Crespellano. The food was delicious (melt in your mouth angus filet, risotto with perfectly prepared bites of separately served raw shrimp and tuna and one other fish, and several others), clever and delightful amuses bouches (3!), lovely wine selection (Fanti Brunello for us), and perfect pre-desert surprise followed by a lovely chocolate truffle delight. The server was knowledgeable and professional and the son of the chef. Kudos to them all. We strongly recommend.

I asked myself many times “why Valsamoggia?”. I believe I have now found the reason. The highway exit is there for you to go to Antica Scuderia 1870, which is less than 10 min away. A truly exquisite experience throughout. Bravi!
