Great middle eastern ambience and the food was delicious. We had wine, fresh warm pita bread with appetizers, lamb dishes and grilled vegetables which were excellent and well spiced. The staff was attentive, courteous and friendly.

Welcome from staff was friendly. We had booked online but the team did not appear to have a clear record of this. However, as the restaurant was not full, we were quickly seated. The menu is extensive and a little confusing. It was not clear on portion sizes and therefore we were unsure how much to order. We decided to order a mixed plate of starters. These arrived quickly and were pleasant but not outstanding. For example, the baba ganoush was slightly too acidic and the hummus a little dry. Main courses are large in size and unless you are feeling ravenous are too big to finish after a starter. The lamb tagine was tasty but could have been cooked for longer and slower so the meat would be tender and fall off the bone. I had a chicken dish with rice. Again it needed slower cooking and the chicken was a little dry. This was a good meal but not a great one. I think catering for one visit tourists may have made the restaurant more concerned with speed, and the quality has suffered.
