Great food and setting would definitely go again

We had croquettes, patatas bravas, sea bass, Iberian pork, and duck—one portion of each—and shared everything between two people. We found all the dishes to be excellent. The service was also very good, and the food was brought to the table at a steady pace, always arriving after we had finished the previous dish. It’s a popular place, so making a reservation is recommended. Many people without a reservation had to turn away at the door during the evening.

Things done well: pisco sour cocktail and roasted pumpkin salad. Things done poorly or less well. Service: upon arrival to our reservation the server tried to seat us on backless bar stools to eat at the bar. When I told her a bad knee wouldn’t let me use those stools she pulled a sour face and told us we could have a two top table and admonished us we would have to go eat in under an hour. This could have been a challenge in Spain, but the dishes were all of small enough size that we finished in time. This restaurant advertises itself as “fusion” but fusion doesn’t generally mean bland, and this was a whole lot of bland. From the scallop (note the singular) starter to the alleged carrot cake., nothing was great. The most well done dish was the sea bass. I had hoped for a good flavor profile from the Raman, but found that insipid as well, though that had at least pleasingly unctuous sauce. And finally to pay €88 for this B grade food in a loud restaurant was the final tap out. Avoid.

Great spot for really great food and drinks. It also was very reasonably priced for such a high quality restaurant. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves food that’s been very well prepared, seasoned, and presented. I think it has a Bib G, and it’s well deserved.

The food at Marabunda was absolutely amazing, full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The staff were fantastic, friendly, and attentive throughout. Great service and a wonderful overall experience!

This restaurant is creative but not pretentious, and the quality of food and service is excellent. The chef and staff have a clear passion for, and knowledge of the food they prepare and serve. The awards indicated by the door are no surprise and well deserved.

It was a challenging experience as tourist visiting the resturant. On entering the resturant we were told to get out and wait in the rain till they check out reservation. Also we were.reminded to shut the door and wait outside in the rain. Next they could not find the reservation.and we showed the reservation email and confirmation. The hostess checked and offered a bar stool and high table to have our dinner. We politely refused as other dinner tables were available and empty and it was not worth paying for dinner sitting in an uncomfortable.stool.with family for next 2-3 hrs. Think it is not a place where international.tourists are welcome (we are from London and daughter from Melbourne). But probably more for locals

Exceptional culinary experience! We had a fantastic evening at this restaurant. The food quality is truly outstanding—you can taste the freshness and care in every dish. We were especially impressed by the innovative menu, which offered unique and delightful surprises. A huge compliment to the staff: our waiter was incredibly attentive and warm. Even with a full house, he remained perfectly focused and made our evening special with his excellent service. Highly recommended for anyone seeking superb food and top-tier hospitality!
