Dining at Aroma was truly unforgettable—the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary 🤍 From the moment we arrived, everything felt elevated and special. The atmosphere is absolutely stunning, with views that are honestly hard to put into words—it’s one of those places that makes you pause and just take it all in. The service was impeccable—attentive, warm, and perfectly timed without ever feeling overbearing. You can tell they genuinely care about creating an experience, not just a meal. And then came the sweetest surprise—they brought us a complimentary anniversary dessert, and it was completely over the top in the best way. Not only was it beautiful, but it felt so thoughtful and intentional… such a memorable touch that made our night even more special. Between the incredible food, breathtaking setting, and those extra details that don’t go unnoticed, Aroma made our anniversary something we’ll never forget. Truly a must-do in Rome ✨🇮🇹

This was an amazing experience. The food was excellent and the ambience overlooking the Colloseum was an unforgettable experience. The summelier offered us exquisite drinks with our food. The chef outdid himself --we throughly enjoyed ourselves.

+4A truly special experience tonight with a fantastic view. They didn’t have a specific non-alcoholic wine pairing but for me they made up special mocktails with each course which were all delicious. The night was made even more memorable when we were leaving and the waiter called out the chef to meet me. I would highly recommend this restaurant ❤️

The service is perfect. Bravo! Everything else is very presumptuous. Nothing appealing in the decoration. The food is not bad, but the seasoning could've been better since we expected the dishes to be delicious. Disappointing for a Michelin star restaurant. The worse we've been.

Made a reservation for two in this restaurant and it was quite an experience. We’ve opted by the tasting menu which is an option that includes both fish and meat dishes. To accompany the meal, I asked for the sommelier service. Everything was great! The food, the service and specially the view to the colosseum!

The crew was very nice and always professionell. The head of the restaurant "chef de resaurant" knew a lot about the "Aroma history" and was proud to tell about. A marvellous experience in the interesting city Roma.

The chef and his team, the service and the ambience was Five Stars. We knew that this was a Michelin Star restaurant with a fabulous view of the colosseum but everything was perfect and the tasting menu with wine pairings…simply sublime. This was truly an experience and a night to remember!

Service needs to be improved. Better spend much more for each person and let the place be less crowded rather than being so full of people and mess

This was the best meal we have had in Italy. We got the fish and vegetarian courses with the wine parings (a MUST). Simply phenomenal

Everything about this restaurant was 5 star. When you arrive you are greeted in the hotel lobby and seated while they prepare your table. Once ready, you take a small elevator to the top floor where you are greeted, by name, and escorted to your table. The view of the Colosseum is simply stunning, especially at night. And then the service begins. You are served by a team of waiters, waitresses, and sommeliers who are second to none. Friendly, knowledgeable, and simply fantastic. And then there is the food. Simply the best I have ever had. Each course is presented expertly and with such flavor and attention to detail. In short, the is the best restaurant I have ever dined at and there should be a new 6 star category for them. This is a must when visiting Rome or if you are Italian and for a special occasion.

We had the most lovely time at Aroma for our first night in Rome! Fred, the Sommelier, picked the absolute best wines I had ever had for the pairing. You must let do the wine pairing with the meal!!!

Amazing experience however, felt it was a little bit of a hard sell when me and my partner said we didn’t drink. Other than that, 10/10. Would recommend!

We had a special surprise for my boyfriend’s birthday. It would be good to put Tanti auguri in Italian so you can show you were in Rome.

Food was excellent! From a service perspective, my wine was picked up before I finished it, and we had to fill our own glasses with water a couple of times - some opportunity for improvement in the service area. Ambience was beautiful - watching the sun set with an unobstructed view of the coliseum was fantastic. I would recommend requesting a table in the center vs the ends, because, once they open the windows to the restaurant, the view from the tables on ends is blocked by the windows (they will open for slivers of unobstructed views, though).

They have the Michelin star restaurant formula done to near perfection but.. one of us ordered carbonara and got amatriciana, which they corrected immediately (and adjusted our bill). They really need an a la carte menu, especially at lunch time. A multi course meal in mid day is too much!

location is tremendous, the food experience is outstanding, service was as if we were the only client, super attentive. highly recommended

We had a very good lunch at Aroma, really enjoyable. We've got a corner spot on the terrasse and the weather was delight full. There was a mixup with the water, put our waiters made a quick fix an all in all we were very pleased with the water, wine pairing and service. Signatur dish with the logo of the colosseum a raspberry dessert. Beautiful made but a little to doll in flavor. luckily our glas served with that compensated for it.

Disappointing given the cost and Michelin star. Service made mistakes, was passive aggressive about not finishing meals, and some of the meals were just not good.

The main attraction of this restaurant is its location and view of the Colosseum which is really nice, especially at night time with the Colosseum lights being on. If it wasn't for the view, the restaurant would not at all be on the radar for tourists. For Michelin star restaurant, the food was ok but nothing extraordinary. The service was great, as it usually is at restaurants of this caliber. However, in Rome where food is amazing everywhere for the fraction of cost of what the tab ends up to be here, I would say you should look for other options. Rome is about Italian food and every family restaurant offers the most delicious options. One thing that stood out was the dessert, it was really amazing. I specifically mentioned it the the server, and he introduced us to the pastry chef who we got to thank personally.
