Made a reservation for two in this restaurant and it was quite an experience. We’ve opted by the tasting menu which is an option that includes both fish and meat dishes. To accompany the meal, I asked for the sommelier service. Everything was great! The food, the service and specially the view to the colosseum!

The crew was very nice and always professionell. The head of the restaurant "chef de resaurant" knew a lot about the "Aroma history" and was proud to tell about. A marvellous experience in the interesting city Roma.

The chef and his team, the service and the ambience was Five Stars. We knew that this was a Michelin Star restaurant with a fabulous view of the colosseum but everything was perfect and the tasting menu with wine pairings…simply sublime. This was truly an experience and a night to remember!

Everything about this restaurant was 5 star. When you arrive you are greeted in the hotel lobby and seated while they prepare your table. Once ready, you take a small elevator to the top floor where you are greeted, by name, and escorted to your table. The view of the Colosseum is simply stunning, especially at night. And then the service begins. You are served by a team of waiters, waitresses, and sommeliers who are second to none. Friendly, knowledgeable, and simply fantastic. And then there is the food. Simply the best I have ever had. Each course is presented expertly and with such flavor and attention to detail. In short, the is the best restaurant I have ever dined at and there should be a new 6 star category for them. This is a must when visiting Rome or if you are Italian and for a special occasion.

We had the most lovely time at Aroma for our first night in Rome! Fred, the Sommelier, picked the absolute best wines I had ever had for the pairing. You must let do the wine pairing with the meal!!!

Food was excellent! From a service perspective, my wine was picked up before I finished it, and we had to fill our own glasses with water a couple of times - some opportunity for improvement in the service area. Ambience was beautiful - watching the sun set with an unobstructed view of the coliseum was fantastic. I would recommend requesting a table in the center vs the ends, because, once they open the windows to the restaurant, the view from the tables on ends is blocked by the windows (they will open for slivers of unobstructed views, though).
