2/10The menu on their website was not the menu we were presented with on arrival. Prices were inflated and the three dinner options that were highlighted on the website were nowhere to be found. We protested to the waiting staff but received only apologies and denials. It was clear that the 50% discount on a la carte orders offered by The Fork would also not be recognized. At this stage we decided to abort the arrangement and cancelled our reservation.

5/10We arrived on time for reservation. The waiter was still putting his dinner tie on. I explained in spanish about our reservation but the waiter wanted to see written confirmation. I showed The Fork email. Once seated it took about 15 minutes before a menu appeared. There were only 2 tables occupied of which we were one. After almost an hour our food arrived. The suckling pig was lovely but the whole experience by now diminished the food experience. We decided not to order a dessert in case we would have endure another interminable wait. We asked for the bill and again had to produce the written confirmation of our reservation to qualify for the special offer. All in all, if the restaurant find it difficult to implement The Fork reservation system and offers maybe they should not use it to avoid disappointed customers.

7.5/10We visited the restaurant excited to take advantage of the 50% discount menu. However, upon our arrival, despite the waitstaff clearly understanding our intention to use the Fork discount, they initially acted as if they were unaware of it and presented their standard menu priced at €26 each. After expressing our desire to enjoy the discounted menu, we felt a noticeable shift in the service throughout our meal. While the food was enjoyable, the portion sizes were noticeably smaller compared to those served to other tables. This left us with the impression that our choice to opt for the discounted menu may have influenced the level of service we received. Promotions like this should serve as an incentive for diners, not as a source of frustration or bias. We believe that all customers, regardless of their menu choice, should receive equal treatment and attention. In summary, while the food was good, I would advise caution if you decide to take advantage of the 50% discount menu, as it may not lead to the same experience as that of other diners.

2/10The location of the place was beautiful. The male server that greeted us was friendly. But when the female server came to ask if we spoke Spanish and we said very little, she seemed annoyed and was rude after. She asked what carta we wanted and I explained that we made a reservation through "Fork" where it says we get 50% off the non-set menu. Despite this, she showed us the set menu for €29. When we said we will leave she asked again what carta did we want so we said we wanted the menu with 50% discount. She went to the other table with a couple and a child and she made a face and a hand gesture towards us while talking to them. At this point we couldn't take how rude she was and scared that she might mess with our food since she made us feel unwanted, we left. We were excited to try this restaurant's food based on its ratings but perhaps Americans should think twice before trying this place. Not welcoming of tourists.

7.5/10We arrived at 1 pm for our reservation but they were not yet fully prepared for diners. They wanted us to choose the 3 course pre-set menu, but we are not huge eaters and knew that what we would order was sufficient for us and very reasonably priced with the Fork discount. The Segovian Patatas- more like a soup -was exceptional! Suckling pig- not quite as crispy as we have had at other restaurants, but Still good. this dish had a tiny salad as accompaniment. I ordered a glass of Cava but they only had full bottles. bread was OK. The waitstaff could be more on point, but overall still good experience.

3/10The waiters are extremely rude. The service itself terrible. They brought me the glass with the lipstick on it. The menu does not exist and in the fork they said that it is different. The food is pricy and quality is terrible

6.5/10The place is always super busy so dont expect to sit down at the same time you made the booking for. We had our booking scheduled for 15h30 and arrived around 15h10 to let the waiters know we were there and had a reservation; I even pointed out that we were with someone with reduced mobility (the restaurant has a lot of stairs and steps, not wheelchair friendly AT ALL) but we were only able to sit down at 16h10 - one hour after arriving, and I insist: with someone with disabilities. Clearly this restaurant has several overbooking issues - if you come here with someone more senior or with any health issues, please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else because they will make you wait way beyond your scheduled reservation without giving too much care. The staff is nice but pretty unbothered with the situation, we do have to say that once we sat down, food was served pretty quickly and waiters started treating us a bit more nicely and the food was very decent. If you have lots of free time to wait and nothing better to do, this is a great place to experience eating out in Spain. I unfortunately will not be coming back here.

9/10We went for dinner. Chose the 3 course €29 inc a bottle of wine & water (2 people)..the starters were good, suckling pig delicious and desserts good too. Menu choices were interesting, not your usual menu del dia choices. Good value for money. Only slight criticism is that at 9pm in the restaurant we were the only customers. It did fill up a little. Lacking in atmosphere a little and quite cold.

7/10The food was good but was a bit salty. We had the suckling pig and bean stew. The service felt a bit rushed and the waiter was always standing next to the table, which made the atmosphere a bit uncomfortable. Also, the 50% promotion was not accepted at first and they said that we had to order from the menu, so we told them that we booked it on theFork with the discount. Eventually, they said it was okay, but next time it will not be allowed.

10/10Delicious food at a busy restaurant. I really enjoyed the creamed potato appetizer with truffle oil. The pork was incredible and a huge serving. Dessert was also spectacular.

3/10Waiters tried hard to convince us without success to choose the menu were the discount for the fork is not applicable. They were annoying and walked by the table all the time. They asked us if we had eaten and another local restaurant that is famous. He even bother to ask how much we paid on that restaurant. The food was ok but we felt they were unprofessional and desperate.

8/10The beans soup and suckling pig recommended by the waiters did not disappoint! Waiters dished the soup into our plates and we could request for more or less soup depending on our preference. Roast suckling pig was delectable, with a crisp layer of fat.

10/10Comimos judiones, cochinillo y de postre ponche segoviano. Realmente rico todo, he comido cochinillo en otros sitios y este es sin duda el mejor en cuanto a sabor, textura y presentación. La atención además excelente! We had the traditional Segovia dishes and they were all excelent. The cochinillo is the best one I’ve had, the taste, texture and display were all on point. The waiters were super kind! Would recommend 10/10

8.5/10The waiters were very friendly and kind, a little slow to begin with because I think perhaps they were short staffed. But otherwise very good and the food was fantastic. The only down side was the flies, there are lots of them. Hopefully there is something that could be done about this .

9.5/10Nice place in Segovia old town. Went there following Tripadvisor recommendation. Due to language limitations on both sides there were some communication problems about the menu. But the two waiters were nice and funny. The beet root starter was excellent. T-bone quality also very good. Including bottle of wine plus extra drinks for less than 30€ pp, Absolutely recommended.

10/10From the moment I stepped on their doorstep, ALL the waiters were nothing but lovely and genuinely cheerful!! Particularly the one I was assigned to (too bad I didn’t catch his name). He just seemed to really enjoy his work hahaha it was quite fun to witness! The food was also great! As a starter, I got the potato, egg, with freshly grated truffle. Served with huge chunks of bread hahaha main dish was their conchillo, as recommended by the best waiter ever hahaha and it didn’t disappoint! It was a rather generous slab (leg) for one person and my gosh, it smelled amazing. The skin was properly browned, nice and crunchy while the meat inside was fall-off-the-bone soft and juicy! It tastes just like lechon (from the Philippines) so the standard was HIGH for this one and they SERVED it and served it WELL. Lastly, for dessert, I had their Segovian punch cake? It tasted like custard in between two thin layers of crust. Beside it was a dollop of (what seemed to be) homemade whipped cream. This dish was served cold ???? All in all, I would definitely go back there, half for the service and half for the food hahahaha the camareros were that great! They held great conversations and they really explained your food and just made it feel like a more personal dining experience. 15/10 for this place!!!

9.5/10My teenage son and I really enjoyed the food. For me that’s not a big deal, but my son is really picky and the food was different than he’s used to. Regardless, he loved the empanadillas and beef entrecot, especially when they unexpectedly set his vegetables on fire right in front of him! I just got their specialties: the cochinilla, soup and Segovia punch… all delicious. The staff was really friendly and patient, because I speak very little Spanish. Overall, I’d highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable meal in an unforgettable town.
