Absolutely amazing food! Got caught out by being cash only, so had to run to an ATM, but the best food we had in Marseille(which is a massive compliment as we had a lot of good food in the city!)

We visited here after seeing it on Jamie Oliver’s TV programme when he was in Marseille. The food was great, the staff were lovely and very caring & attentive, the place is slightly scruffy and the price was great too!

We enjoyed some very good food in a very pleasant atmosphere. The service was fast, staff kind, even willing to tweak a recipe so we can have the Frikeh as a vegetarian option.

First off I'll mention this review is for their second location @ 26 Cours Julien. We accidentally went to the wrong location after making the reservation. However the owner assured us everything is the same between the 2 locations which are both under his ownership. I had the lamb shank (souris d'agneau) and my brother the whole fish. To say we loved it is an understatement. Lamb is my favorite and I eat it often. This shank was the best I've had anywhere. Extremely flavorful and fall off the bone tender and moist. My brother felt the same about his fish. The reviews that led us to this restaurant were spot on. If you like Mediterranean cuisine and are in Marseille definitely give it a try. Our only regret is that we're leaving tomorrow and won't have a chance to have another meal there.

This is not a restaurant but more like a potluck in a students dormitory. There is no menu but some kind of "buffet" which is very crowded as people who take away compete with those who are eating in. Because of this, the choice of food is limited to what can be kept warm. I had been hoping for any fresh grilled kebap or the like, but had no luck. The lamb stue was without any lamb as people picked the meat and left the sauce. Other dishes were either cold (where they shouln't have been) or dry like powder (chicken liver). Sorry but I have a hard time understanding the place's Rating here. Seems to be liked by young people though.

Came on the basis of Tripadvisor reviews and weren't disappointed. Food was excellent, everything was well explained and staff were very friendly and helpful. Wouldn't normally go for a buffet but everything was very tasty and it represented really good value at 18.5€ including soft drinks. We were there for Sunday brunch and it was clearly very popular and got pretty busy. Would recommend.

This was my first time in a Syrian restaurant, and the Sunday lunch buffet was really impressive. Great range of both hot and cold dishes, sweets and drinks. Lovely fresh flavours and textures, and all beautifully presented. Good Lebanese beer too. Would happily eat there every Sunday!
