Fabulous …. From start to finish

Service was excellent. Time was taken to make sure we had everything we needed and that our questions were answered with not only personal staff opinions, but also opinions from previous clients.

The ambience of the restaurant is olde worldly! Service was excellent and friendly with super recommendations for both wine and food! Most definitely worth a visit and will look forward to dining with them again!

The food is of high quality. The service is excellent. They found a table for us even though we made mistake in the time of booking. A true gem of a restaurant and I hope we can return on our next holiday to Alvor

we asked for an alternative to chips and we got little sautéed potatoes to go with our lamb shank the whole meal was delicious.

Atascado in Alvor has it all in abundance. We were so glad we found this gem ,delicious cuisine ,impeccable service from both gentlemen, great atmosphere and vibe and the red house wine was delicious too. Each course was beautifully presented and so tasty and you just knew they were passionate about what they do .I had the tuna pate with bread and olives , followed by the baked goats cheese in honey and pastry and have to say they were both superb and the sea bass main dish was delicious also. sadly we never made it to dessert this time as we had eaten our fill! We also thought it amazing value for the superb quality and will definitely be back soon .This is the place if you appreciate delicious fresh food and wines ,excellent service and a lovely ambience 👌

One of the best meals we’ve had during this whole trip. Love the interior with original stone walls and rustic vibe. Service was great, but above all it was the food. All fish dishes cooked to perfection and the pasta and prawns perfect. Highly recommended!!

Wonderful food and service ...in the heart of the old town. If driving, be prepared to look for a spot. No parking on street or little parking in vicinity. Despite parking challenge.... well worth the trip! We will definitely return .

I had the sole fillet. It was 3 or 4 small fillets of sole. It was dry at the edges and was placed on top of overcooked halved potatoes and a mish mash of vegetables which was supposed to be ratatouille! The presentation was non- existent. My wife, on the other hand, had a very nice octopus with sweet potato and vegetables, nicely served in a glazed dish, which she enjoyed. The service was very pleasant with advice given about the wines available.

Amazing place in Alvor, Seabass amazing!! And I also really loved the attentiveness from the staff and the Fig, Almond and Carob Tart!!! I will be back !

We sat in the terrace upstairs which was lovely. The food was really nice especially the fish with prawns and lime. Great find

We were recommended this restaurant and we were not disappointed. Excellent food (fish). Excellent friendly service and all for a very reasonable price. Coffee was lovely and a complementary port after the meal was a great finale. Fully recommend.
