10/10We were in Paris for our wedding anniversary and it was ideal lunch venue on our last day after our visit to the Notre Dame & strolling by the Seine on a lazy Sunday. We had the chef's 6_course choice and we were not disappointed.

8.5/10This was a perfect find for subday evening where more restaurants are closed. The service was great but there were too few to deal with the crowd. The food was very good, the split pea soup abd the bernaise were spot on.

8.5/10While we enjoyed our meal, nothing was amazing. The service was good but sometimes inattentive. Starters were good( rabbit and soup) but lacked some wow. The main plates (duck and veal) were about the same. I think the highlight was the mushroom and spinach side dish. We would consider it a requirement to get proper wine glasses for this wine list. Not sure how the premier crus would be served but this is a lovely list deserving of proper stem ware. High end Bordeaux in a white glass is a miss. The st Emillion was outstanding regardless.

10/10A small venue with a large fireplace just off the Seine in Paris. We sat directly in front of the fireplace on a cold rainy day. The atmosphere was warm and delightful. The food was excellent across many dishes we had. The service was efficient, polite, and unobtrusive. Worth a try if you haven’t.

10/10When my SIL texted me and said she wanted roast chicken, I immediately made a reservation for Chez Maitre Albert. As usual, solid service, delicious food and the wall with the words used in cooking and cuisine in general was fun to read and kept the kids amused. This is one of go to Parisien Sunday night places and once again it delivered.

8.5/10Very good food and friendly staff. The restaurant has a great ambiance and all the tables were full indicating a good reputation. It was how every very and uncomfortably warm in the room where we were seated due to the kitchen grill and the fire place. I would recommend going for food taste and value.

7/10The restaurant serves quality meals, but unfortunately in a very high paced setting. We arrived around 7:30 and were out before 9:00 having a main and a desert, and even a round of coffee - which is perhaps appropriate for some tourists coming in from across the pond, but does not fit a high quality French restaurant. We had the impression the service is catering differently for tourists and locals, so are expecting the local experience to be a much better one.

3/10Our reservation was confirmed for 8:30 pm at the restaurant. When we arrived to the restaurant we were seated at a table in the bar next to the restrooms. When we asked to move to another table in the dining room we were informed that the open tables were reserved for other customers and that we had to stay in the bar area that was in very bad shape. We also were forced to hear the frequent slamming of the bathroom door by the customers. We decided to stay at the restaurant because when we did our reservation on line we had to pay in advance an amount to guarantee the reservation. We had to wait a long time to place our order and the service was very slow. In general the food was terrible and some plates were cold. Not good for a restaurant to be included in the list of restaurants recommended by Michelin. We would had appreciated if the restaurant would have declined the reservation on line if they could not at least guarantee a table in the main dining section. We would have tried another restaurant in Paris that would had provided better food, ambiance and service. In summary, bad restaurant, overpriced, terrible food and poor service.

10/10We had an excellent time and highly recommend the formule menu for dinner. Featuring a wood-burning fireplace, soft lighting and plenty of space between tables, the romantic ambience of this restaurant will make you want to take your time and linger. The restaurant staff are attentive, personable, and are happy to help non-French speakers with the menu.

4/10Don’t bother, not sure how this restaurant has the rating. Food was bland, front of house was rude and I can’t see how they have the rating. I can put up with rude service but when the food isn’t up to the rating then I have to leave a review. Had to ask for water, had to ask for drinks and was given a rude response. Food is below home cooked standards. 290 euros later with a bottle of wine (70 euros) and some other drinks you can easily get a better meal at a walk up restaurant on any Parisian street. I booked this dinner 4 months in advance (after reading reviews here), totally disappointed. Don’t put yourself through the same disappointment. Book somewhere else.

4/10We were rushed from the moment we walked in. Our waiter was rude, uninformed, obnoxious and incredibly disrespectful to the dining experience. We had better meals elsewhere, everywhere actually. Don't waste a meal here, I'm sad we did.

9/10Very knowledgeable and personable staff. Each meal was excellently crafted with very good quality-to-price ratio. The ambiance was good enough, but a bit dark and quite chilly temperature wise. Maybe an additional candle on each table would make the environment seem more cosy. Would definitely recommend.

5/10I saw lots of great reviews of this restaurant, but arrived to be disappointed. Food quality was a major miss. There were only 3-4 tables seated the entire restaurant and the chefs behind their grill counter looked bored. I was not impressed with the food at all. Average at best.

5.5/10I ordered the entrecôte which was extremely disappointing. The meat was second rate, very difficult to cut due to lots of veins. Hard to believe that Guy Savoy is associating his name with this type of quality. Fortunately the waitress had the good taste to exclude the dish from the check. The rest of the meal was OK without being great.

4.5/10A disappointment. An old fashioned restaurant that lost its soul. The food was flat, without a taste, with lack of creativity. Far from what you would expect from a Guy Savoy’s signature place, and definitely for this price.

7/10The dining room is very warm and inviting with a neat flare on a graffiti wall. The food is earthy and tasty if maybe a little simple. I would absolutely order the veal t-bone again. The service however was so very unapologetically bad that I suspect we wouldn’t choose to return.

10/10Beautiful atmosphere and delicious food. Generous portions. Excellent service. We were very pleased and would definitely return. The meal was around 215 euro for 3 people + cocktails and a bottle of wine. Great value.

5.5/10The restaurant is beautiful. The hostess and server were polite. Our server missed several cues for a second glass of wine. As for our dinner: the baguette slices were rubbery, clearly, based on our experience, not fresh. We split a roasted chicken, which was well prepared. We should have each ordered the dinner portion. The 2 sides were seasoned chickpeas and roasted fennel. The chickpeas were tasty, but unremarkable. The fennel was supposed to be roasted, but looked and tasted as if they were sautéed in oil and sweated down to a soft, glassy consistency. The chicken came with mashed potatoes, which were very creamy, but otherwise unremarkable. We ordered the roasted pineapple dessert, which was just, well, a roasted pineapple. We also ordered the chocolate pudding with a raspberry topping and a meringue to finish. The chocolate pudding’s consistency was oddly dense and not nearly as intense as the hot chocolate we’d had in several bistros. All in all, the dinner was ok, Based on what I’d read about the restaurant, I had expected something out of the ordinary both in terms of complexity of flavors, as well as inventive preparation.

9.5/10This is a very good option for excellent food in nice surroundings in Paris. We had the soup of the day, entrecote, and the rotisserie chicken, which was VERY goo d. Wines were reasonably priced by the bottle and by the glass. We had just been in Bordeaux where they were unusually expensive. We will return!

10/10Belle trouvaille! This charming restaurant is unusually spacious for a 5eme arrondissement establishment, you aren't crammed together like sardines. Soft lighting, superb food, excellent service, big fireplace, wonderful ambiance... a definite go-to.
