The french onion soup was really good, but unfortunately my main course was a disaster. It takes a lot for me to complain, but this was one of my worst dining experiences in my life. First of all, I got the wrong dish. I ordered the turbot with champagne sauce and cauliflower, but I got another fish with a saffron sauce with some overly cooked rice and mushroom. When I explained that I got the wrong dish, the waitress told me "no, this is champagne" and I was like "umm no, it's saffron?" and she goes "yes it's champagne and saffron, is it too much spice for you?" and legit just gaslit me. It wasn't until I explained that there is no cauliflower either on the plate that she consulted a colleauge, and then she cam back and said "oh sorry, it was the wrong dish". Then when I got the right dish, the fish was over cooked (it was.. hard), the sauce was broken (!!!) and just tasted like butter and the cauliflower tasted of wet cellar/mold. And this was the most expensive dish on the menu.

The foie gras was good, but the Bourguignon wich is the star dish at the restaurant, was very underwhelming, the meat was really fatty, the potatoes tasted horrible, and there wasn't enough of the mushrooms or lardons on my coccote, for 26 euros it was a 1 star dish, expensive for poor quality to be honest. But the foie gras was great, and the wait staff super friendly.

A visitor cannot come to Paris without having beef Bourguignon! And I looked around the restaurant very few people were having anything else! Our server was efficient and very attentive and brought us a steaming bowl of beef, which was absolutely delicious. To my amazement, there were many French people at the restaurant as well as tourist so that says something about the food. I would suggest reservations as the tables were mostly full.

We ordered the onion soup, as we heard it was the best. While it was good, we did not think it was the best, and that’s just personal preference. The burger and beef stew were amazing, incredibly flavorful. Would definitely return on our next trip.

We were lucky enough to get a last minute reservation on a Sunday night. We shared the onion soup and beef bourgouignon and it was absolutely to die for. Service was amazing. The staff is friendly and super attentative. Highly recommend!

I liked the beef bourguignon when i ate here last summer. Tonight it was good too, but not as good as last summer’s. The sauce was a little watered down, not really a sauce.
