We had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. The food was excellent—we ordered the beef Chateaubriand, which was perfectly cooked and incredibly tender, as well as the Noix de Coquille Saint Jacques, which was absolutely delicious. The service was efficient, making the meal even more enjoyable. A great spot for a quality meal—we highly recommend it!

10/10I recently organised a dinner for a group of nine visiting Paris, and this restaurant exceeded all expectations. The food was excellent, with every dish beautifully prepared and full of flavour. The service was outstanding—attentive, professional, and very welcoming. They spoke English fluently, making the experience seamless for our group. Everything was perfect, from the atmosphere to the attention to detail. Highly recommend!

10/10We loved the warm, home-like atmosphere of this restaurant. The food was excellent, with a standout dessert "Tarte Tatin" that was both rich and not overly sweet. Highly recommend!

The service was very very poor and we can feel the racism in this restaurant. We’re Filipino couple who have been working in Singapore. The owner of this restaurant was very rude… We arrived at the restaurant 15mins early but we asked if it was okay to come in early as our booking time is 15mins.earlier and she said Ok. She gave us the table next to toilet. But there’s available table for two not near the toilet. And it’s not dollhouse . And she told us that the front area had been reserved for other guests. I thought that’s first come first served as we booked earlier .

10/10Was my last night in Paris and was recommended this by someone after not wanting to venture far from my hotel. It was such a great experience with amazing service and great food. The staff there are so sweet and attentive. Highly recommend!

10/10Mademoiselle Monica, the Madame (didn't get her name) the sous chef, and of course the chef. Monica and the Madame catered to our every need, including letting us sit outside under an umbrella in the sprinkling rain. The Chateaubriand was superb and the wine sublime. It was a night to be remembered. Thank you Au Petit Tonneau

10/10This charming neighborhood restaurant is a great place to have a traditional French dinner. The Dover sole is always good, presented then deboned perfectly. Other dishes of note are the beef Bourguignon and the veal stew. Potatoes gratin make a lovely addition. The owners are welcoming and helpful. Nice wine list and we always ask them to select a Bordeaux for us.

10/10Our server was able to speak English when our French was failing us! Her explanation of the menu in detail was a plus. The choices were varied. Everything we ate...for all 3 of us...loved it all. Fro the amuse bouche, the butternut squash soup, to the duck and the sole meunière/gratin potatoes and haricot vertes were exceptional, not to mention the tartan and the flan for dessert. This is going to be one of our go to places to bring visitors to on their vacation in Paris from now on.

3/10The restaurant was very hot with rude waiter and waitresses. Seems like they dont welcome us and we waited for a very long time to take our order. Didnt realise that there was a minimum of 1 main course per person when I was making this booking and the lady boss were not happy with us saying that she held our table and had to pay €4 to The Fork for the table lmao. The food was just average and overpriced for the tiny portions. Given that we are not from France it is a culture shock for all of us. They were rude and I apologized multiple times. Funny because we pay to eat there and we still need to be treated with such attitude.

10/10Recommended by our son and grandson who were here in March 2023. One of their favorites. Did not disappoint. Small with a local feel, in fact a number of diners appeared to be local excellent food: chateaubriand, crispy pigs feet starter, roast lamb & dark chocolate mouse with Bordeaux wine. 9/10A little gem of a restaurant in the quiet and classy Paris VII. My wife and I shared a plentiful, delicious and fresh Tuna tartare on a bed of guacamole garnished with pomegranate seeds. They were out of Sole, so she opted for the John Dory, which she loved. I had the blanquette de veau, creamy without cream and very tasty. The noise level was high.
