Our waiter was remarkable. My wife and I have been 3-4 times when we visit Paris. Despite it being in a very touristy area, it still feels real. Our waiter (who we have had before) is fun, attentive without being "too present"... put up with our French and made our guests feel great. We were a group of 8 and everyone loved their meals, the ambiance and entire experience. A bientot. We will be back!

My Friends and I had an amazing time “Au Rocher de Cancale”. The staff was amazing: organising the most convenient table, letting us the time to order available for all our requests. The building is really pretty, location is very convenient, I highly recommend the place.

We had our first meal in Paris at Au Rocher de Cancale and it was a wonderful start to our trip! The oysters were so fresh and plump. My husband loved the onion soup. We ordered sea bream, scallops and beef fillet for main and everything was delicious! All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

After 50 years I found the then decayed building now its a friendly traditional Parisian restaurant- magic. I drew the building then and enjoyed great prawns and then honeyed duck last week

We came for the onion soup. We had heard about how wonderful it was with amazing depth and flavor with all the melted cheese... Ours had barely had cheese at all and was too spicy hot. Real disappointment

This restaurant is a lively brasserie. The atmosphere is worth experiencing. The waitstaff is kind and efficient. They obviously work hard and really keep moving. That said, I ordered magret de canard cooked "à point" (medium) and it was practically charred. This made the meat very tough. The accompanying potatoes were almost as crisy as potato chips. One of my friend's veal was also very overcooked and tough. I was disappointed.

The atmosphere was great at from the beginning. We sat upstairs and it was very warm vibes. Food was wonderful and everything was smooth even though they were very packed in Christmas Eve.

Great Location. Service was great. Drinks were great. Veal Milanese wasn’t great. Veal seemed to be frozen breaded and deep fried. Sauce was decent. Steaks were fatty, sauce was gross. Fries were great.

A bit disappointed by this place I knew for few years ago. Portions were gigantic but not necessary good. i really wish they were much smaller. I was disappointed by the Roquefort sauce that tasted like béarnaise, side, tiramisu that didn’t t have any chocolate or coffee. We were inside but windows were wide opened and I was cold. Not my best experience.

Weeknight dinner. Delicious, enjoyable, and festive. We started with oysters which were small, for which the waitress apologized. But, they were very delicious. Main courses — razor clams and dorado—were fresh, well-seasoned and perfectly cooked. Wines were balanced and paired well. The staff was working hard, kept a careful eye on us and we wanted for nothing. We totally loved it all.
