Nice little local place. Nothing fancy. Alert and polite staff. Everyone is having fun though!

The food was great, ambience as well. Our waiter was amazing but felt so bad for them because extremely understaffed:(( like literally 3 food servers and honestly they needed 15… I am serious. Our server was working soooo hard and had an amazing attitude nit once gave an attitude and had a smile on his face the whole time. The low star fir service was not for our server… I would give 200 stars if I could. However the manager needs to hire people ASAP. It took forever for our everything to come out. I’m giving the low star to the management. Do better for your employees!!!

Great seafood. Excellent service on both occasions we visited. Friendly ambience. Elegant in an understated way. Just loved it.

The risotto with scallops was delicious, almost as good as my Nana (from Northern Italy) used to make. The lamb main was very dry, not juicy.. Service was great.

Our family enjoyed our lunch so much we returned for dinner a few days later. The dishes were delicious, with fresh ingredients, from the salmon filet to the tuna Niçoise salad, tuna tartar and poke bowl. Everyone was happy with their meal and the restaurant was lively and fun with terrific street side people watching. The servers were efficient and friendly. We would return again!

Our waiter Nasser, he was amazing! What a wonderful person! He told me how to say "Il fait chaud". lol. And the food, OMG! If you are an oyster lover like me, you are in the right place!!!

It seems they have changed their recipe for their onion soup. It had very little onions to almost no onions in it and the bread seemed to be rye or some seeded bread other than regular white bread which gave it a bad taste. It was extremely disappointing was this one of our favorite places to get onion soup in Paris regularly. We won’t be back. This place always was rated one of the best for onion soup in Paris.

Au Rocher de Cancale is that neighborhood restaurant that you go to for comfort food. Whether it's for perfect huitres and crevettes roses or onion soup or the most amazing smoked chicken with pasta and cepes sauce. The place is nearly always packed, and yet the service is solid at the craziest times. Plus, great cocktails and solid advice on wine to pair with your dish.
