We dined here as it was relatively close to our hotel on Blvd Richard Lenoir on a dismally wet night, and booked it via The Fork, which was offering a 50% discount on food. The interior is very traditional and. there's a plaque under the bar commemorating Victor Hugo, who was a regular patron back in the day. The food was very good, particularly veal escalopes done in different sauces, so we almost felt guilty about getting it at a substantial discount. The welcome we received was warm and the service was also friendly, if somewhat slow. Perhaps there was only one chef on duty in the unseen kitchen, which is served by up- and-down dumbwaiters behind the bar. We had a lovely bottle of Soave, the classic white wine of Veneto, and would certainly go back!

Excellent Italian meal. We had the salmon with risotto and the lasagna. Both dishes were tasty and authentic. The service was great. The staff is very fun in his an excellent camaraderie. Highly recommend.

Outstanding mushroom risotto - so rich, creamy & favorable. ! The four cheese pizza was luscious. Our waiter Aman was exceedingly helpful, especially to us as Americans.

Amazing pasta. Our group had several different ones but the pesto ravioli was amazing. Our server Ahmed was very cordial and ensured everything was vegetarian like we requested

The food was fine, but I would consider it expensive without the discount applied. However, this was not the main issue. The reason for the poor rating was due to the discount not being automatically applied, and after questioning this with one of the waiters, receiving a rude response asking why I hadn’t noticed this before he setup the payment on the card machine. This is not my responsibility and although I understand that this could happen by mistake, the attitude of the waiter towards me was unacceptable. I would not recommend this restaurant.

I love where the restaurant is placed. Very nice to eat in the terrase. Foods were correct . Prob i will go back again.

I had a 3 course meal and I enjoyed every single bite of the meal. Cosy restaurant, hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation and wonderful dessert. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again. It can be expensive but worth it and they do good deals so it’s worth checking them out before you book.

Food was perfectly nice, although waited about 40mins for a bottle of wine to be brought over to the table and then didn’t bring one persons dessert out until everyone else had finished theirs. Was a nice restaurant but quite squashed in/crowded.

Absolutely charming restaurant - l'ambience, et la cuisine , c'est comme chez grande-mere! We ordered delivery one night when we were stuck in a hotel, so glad we had the opportunity to try in person!

Good food which came very quickly & nice venue/location. Waitress both times we went (same one) was very surly and seemed quite resentful of serving customers. It could be she’s not in a good place but it did dampen the mood a little. A shame as it’s otherwise a good find!

Perfect for pre-opera, open at 6, good carte and very good ardoise specials. Nice choice of wines at reasonable prices. Perhaps the best option around Place de la Bastille, in terms of rapport qualité-prix.

Pizza was very good. They adapted a pasta due to a food allergy, even though we had some difficulty communicating with the waiter, due to our poor French. Value was good, with the Fork discount! Glad we found it through Fork!

Charming Service & Great Food Located next to Bastille, very charming deco What catch our attention is Service is amazing!Frederic should be nominated Best Waiter in Paris ( Rare in Paris) so kind, charming and attentive.Above and beyond. Then food is Delicious Margarita Pizza & Linguini Frutti di Mare Dessert Cafe Gourmand All food are confirmed Great to spend your time and money Truly recommend

Last year we had our first splendid experience at the Auberge. This year we were so happy, that we found the auberge again at the Fork, they survived the Corona-Crisis with take-away-food. The service ist still so friendly, attentive and warmly, the food ( beef carpaccio, linguine frutti die mare and Lasagne with a fabulous, homecooked tomatosauce) is perfect and in huge (for us) portions. And the (very, very) well mixed Aperol Spritz made us a bit tipsy. And we love these marinated tiny olives for free at the beginning. 10 of 10 points again. Go to Italy in Paris :-)

We go there twice a year. The food is really good but the service depends on the waiter who is on duty for you. Today we haven’t been so lucky.
