3/10The preset menu was not available even though on TheFork we had a confirmation that we pre-booked a pre-set menu. The waiter started claiming that it wasn’t on offer, even though I showed the confirmation from TheFork

6/10Food is good..but one of the regular waiters has no charm at all and both waiters rushed us ...we have been here several times over the years...for the price you need both good food AND good service...and not to feel rushed but provide friendly attentive service

Came for my husband’s birthday. The staff were lovely and friendly. We had the set menu which we really enjoyed. The wine was perfect. The ambiance is great you can people watch and take in this special part of Cannes. My husband said it was his favourite meal and experience whilst in Cannes. Looking forward to coming back.

10/10Returned to Da Bouttau after several years away from Cannes, and it was 100% as much fun as we remembered. Excellent service and a great meal in a happy room...everything you could want for a casual evening near the Croisette.

10/10My gosh, where do I even begin? I ordered the rib eye, this is the best steak I have ever eaten. I don't know what they feed the cows in France but my god. They must listen to music and eat flowers and drink wine. My girlfriend got the duck and it was ecstasy! Highly recommend this place!

9.5/10Food was wholesome and very tasty, prepared exactly as I love it. Arrived at perfect temperature and was seasoned to perfection . Friendly upbeat ambiance. Hostess tried to accommodate all our strange requests. Sea food broth had a soothing flavor without typical fishiness . Octopus was perfect -again zero fishiness and not overpowered with lemon … ink risotto was an amazing complement . Lamb was perfect - I couldn’t wish for better preparation - medium done -with just right amount of salt - grilled over wood fire . The best Ratatouille I tried in a restaurant for a long time. Cant comment on a beef - my partner liked it . I would definitely come back and would absolutely recommend this establishment.

4/10Really disappointed: odd flavour combinations that were striving to be interesting but were ultimately just jarring and basics (preparation, seasoning) that fell far short of what one would expect. Many far better places in Cannes.

10/10The oldest restaurant in Cannes - great location in a cosy old town street in the comfortable shade, great ambience, very nice service, and the food was excellent. We had the roasted duck breast, and the flambeed octopus (good size portion) with risotto. Will go there again.

6/10We love this restaurant usually but sadly the food wasn’t great last night. The côté de bœuf was tough and not rare, the entrecôte was mainly fat. The côté de boeuf was 90 euros , normally you would expect their usual side dishes but instead it was just chopped tomatoes and cold re heated black potatoes. The béarnaise sauce was also more a cold butter flavoured with vinegar than a warm sauce. Sorry…..very disappointing.

10/10So far it was the best food, we could find in Cannes. The service was ok, but it was compensated by amazing lamb and entrecôte! We had no space for dessert anymore, but we will definitely go back.
