10/10this is our GO TO restaurant in Paris. they never disappoint. we have eaten here 6 times and every visit is fantastic. favorite in all of Paris.

6.5/10This has been our go to in Paris for many years but we were disappointed with this experience. We ordered a half bottle of Morgon -- a full bottle arrived and we were told they don't do half bottles -- odd that it was on the menu so clearly with a price! We took the bottle and took half back to our apartment. Then the starters arrived and I had ordered goat's cheese salad but was brought fois gras (which I didn't accept) so then a long wait for the correct starter. I noitced the couple next to us were also brought an incorrect starter and when the man next to us was brought his main course the waiter rattled it noisily under his face to make him hurry up and finish his onion soup. This was meant as a joke but felt very uncomfortable. The food was good, but the ambience was lacking and we are unlikely to return.

8/10Great ambience, and of course, beautiful location on the Ile. Food was good (many classic French dishes). Probably it was a busy night, (I'm sure they will all be busy nights in the center of Paris through the summer), but I wish the waiter would have returned our warm greetings and smiles, brought a refill of bread for our group, and checked on us.

3.5/10Small restaurant with tables jammed together, literally touching one another. No private conversation possible due to proximity of other guests. Zero ambiance. Room was very dark and dated. Will never return.

2/10We told the owner or waiter that we would look at the wine list and before we order he poured me a glass of wine that I did not order We walked out because I saw the kitchen from my seat and the oven was filthy. The glasses that were picked up were in the same area as the clean glasses. I was totally grossed out.

10/10Restaurant is quaint, cozy old Paris, food has been consistently very good since 1993 when we first dined there. This year is our 16th visit to Paris and we always dine here our first night in Paris. Highly recommend.

Small quaint and beautiful. The most classic French meal we had on our trip. Beautiful 17th centrury location on Ile St Louis. Appears to be fully booked every night The best you will love it!

10/10The Boeff bourguignon was outstanding! And the atmosphere was very laid back and our server made it fun. Tables are close to other diners, which also added to the enjoyment. Fun couples!!

4.5/10If your comfort zone is being with fellow Americans this is the perfect restaurant in Paris. I would estimate 90% of the guests were Americans. The food was just average, nothing special. The escargot were served without the shells and in a thin onion sauce instead of butter and garlic. Vegetables had good flavor but were overcooked. Service was slow but friendly and cheerful.

What a lovely restaurant. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel like family. The room is lovely and homey and welcoming. The service is warm and friendly. The food was fantastic and I have no idea how one person could prepare all of the food so elegantly. Our ability to speak French is non existent, but that was not a problem here. The restaurant was recommended to us by a friend who lives in Canada and we were so happy to get to experience it ourselves.

5.5/10We were really looking forward to eating at this restaurant, and made a 9:30p reservation through The Fork. The owner informed us on our arrival that the kitchen would be closing soon, and to let him know our order quickly. But we had to ask for napkins and table water several times (they finally came after our food). We purchased the less expensive 1/2 bottle bordeaux, which was a poor choice on our part, for it was not good. (And about 500% markup.) The cassoulet was very tasty, the rabbit was a bit tough and the vegetables overcooked. Terrine was nice, but the onion soup was disappointing and had a piece of cork mixed in with the croutons, which was an unpleasant mouth surprise. As an ancient building, the decor was super-interesting but unhelped by the bright overhead lights and the classical radio station playing. All in all, it was a homey meal that would have been acceptable if we had not felt unwelcome. We were really disappointed.

10/10Great menu, small (big enough for 22 diners), cozy without feeling crowded and great value! If I’d known it was this good I’d have eaten here every night while staying on Ile Saint Louis! I ate at restaurants in the Latin Quarter and on the island but none were as good as this little gem! Make a reservation and just go!

Foie gras and escargot perfect. Salmon and magret du canard tres bien. Tarte Tatum super. Only possible improvement was an order of calvados served after rather than with the tarte rating. Entirely my fault for not specifying since the cultural norm was likely after. Fair price and friendly restaurant.

We have been dining at Aux Anysetiers du Roy every time we are in Paris, for almost 20 years. The food is delicious, high quality, and traditional French. The service is excellent, very friendly. The ambience in this 17th century building is utterly charming and cozy.

8/10The restaurant is very small, about 10 tables, and gets very crowded. Makes for an intimate dining experience, with constant brushing past (unless you have your back to the wall). I found the constant jostling and worry that I was about to get a plateful of something down my neck rather dominated the experience. The food was pretty good, and the service also. It would not consider itself to be haute cuisine, but tasty basic fare. My measure is always the question, would I go back? In this case the answer is no, on the basis I would rather enjoy my meal than worry about what is going on around me.

9/10A memorable evening. The host is affable and charming, regularly switching between English and French as needed. Great food. The lightly sautéed sole was one of the best pieces of fish I’ve ever had. Ambience rates lower only because the space is small and cramped, but everything else was so agreeable that none of the patrons seemed to mind. Make a reservation or you won’t get in.
