9.5/10Having made a very last minute reservation for one, I arrived at the restaurant at 19:00 on Friday 28 July and was shown a table at the rear, from where you could see the chef at work. I was the first to arrive, but after some 30 minutes the restaurant, which is small and cosy, was already more than half full and when I had finished my main course, every table was taken.. The food was delicious. As a starter I had pieces of salmon fillet with spinach and spiced cream, nicely presented, and a coconut naan, both very tasty. My main was a vegetarian dish with aubergine, which, although it did not look as attractive as the starter, was also very good. It was served with basmati rice. For dessert I chose the "thé gourmand", consisting of a cup of any tea from the menu, accompanied by four mini-desserts (for those who find it hard to choose). I cannot speak for any of the drinks on the menu: as it was a hot day, I ordered a large bottle of sparkling water to go with the food. I was very happy with my choice of restaurant and will certainly book a table at this place again, next time I visit Lille. One more thing: when I left, people were (still) waiting outside the restaurant to get a table. Always a good sign.

6/10My third time in this restaurant. Summary : good food but terrible service. For the food, I recommend the tikka massala on a hot plate which is particularly nice. The waiter usually offers extra rice if needed ; I hadn't the need for it as I had enough. Besides, we were offered a champagne glass as a digestive. I didn't take it as I wasn't drinking alcohol that evening ; I wasn't offered an alcohol-free drink instead. Weird... The service... After we were seated, the waitress forgot us for a looong while ! We had some crips and sauces but weren't asked for an aperitive drink. Indeed we weren't given the drinks card. People coming in after us were served first. Weird again. Also, I had booked the dinner with a comment asking for a table near the cook. I enjoy watching the meals being prepared. This wasn't taken into account : the booking has been totally ignored. When I mention this to the waitress she told me we should have arrived earlier. Er... remind me the purpose of a booking ? Weird again again. There was plenty of spare tables in the restaurant, so the table should have been booked. Quite disappointing. The booking is only checked for the bill as it gives you a discount.

9.5/10One of the best "palak paneer" I ever had (but you have to ask for it as it is not listed in the menu). A bit adapted to local palates yet very tasty (do you really want the cashew nut sauce to be THAT sweet?). A little bit ont the pricey side though (without the discount it would have been overpriced). Overall, recommended.

6/10Although the quality of food was satisfactory, the quantity was certainly not. In comparison to the other Indian restaurants (in France) I've been to, the prices we're quite high. Hence, the value for money was quite low. If you are hungry and not rich, I'd suggest you find another place.

3.5/10My wife is Indian and the food is far from being original. All food is cocked in advance and only warmed up to be served. Worst experience ever. Please stay away.
