We had a wonderfull evening, they made a great first mixed platter for 6 persons, fish/meat, and all the other food was amazing.... we felt like home, hospitality was great.

As soon as we arrived at Bacarandino, we were greeted with excellent service. We arrived 10 minutes early for our reservation, and they offered us complimentary wine while we waited for our table—though we were seated ahead of our scheduled time. Every dish we tried was amazing, but I highly recommend the seafood platter, seared tuna, carbonara, and tiramisu. These were the standout dishes. If we're ever in Venice again, we’ll definitely return!

We arrived, were shown to a table, and then forgotten for about 20 minutes. We saw that the bus person reminded the server that we were there. The server... Not too personable or charming or friendly... Just business. At the end of the meal and upon collecting the bill he gave an audible "Hmmmph" when there was no tip. This is in Italy... tips are Not common or expected! He did not deserve a tip none-the-less. Any way, the Food was Very delicious but the service was pretty mediocre. Disappointing.

This is a hidden gem. We sat outside looking at the beautiful buildings of Venice and enjoyed being away from the crowds. I had the grilled fish of the day with grilled vegetables. Delicious ! My husband had the pasta with prawns and mushrooms and it was equally good. The service was excellent and the waiters spoke English and were very friendly. I highly recommend Bacarandino. I hope we get to eat here again.

Food was very good. The service was lacking which almost ruined the entire experience. Staff seemed hurried and disorganized. At the end of the evening, the primary waiter made the tipping process EXTREMELY uncomfortable.

There is so much to love about this restaurant. It's off the main tourist trail, nestled in a lovely square that is full of atmosphere. I booked ahead and received a 20% discount for doing so. I was pleasantly surprised that they knew about this - I've booked through sites before and the communication has failed which has spoiled things. We received a lovely welcome. The menu is amazing. The food is local and the wine is lovely. We had prosciutto with figs, fusilli with blue crab and smoked ricotta (heavenly), duck ragu lasange ( more heaven) and then we had cheese which came with some special surprises and was yummy. We've been to Venice a few times and Bacaradino is definitely a 'find'.

Distinguished looking restaurant, good food and quite sufficient wine list. Ambience is typical venetian. It has two kocations , opposite to each other. Service is ok, through toward end of season tiu can see and feel that there patience is less. They are alle dressed well and i guess expect also wel being customers with big tip ...

For a well located restaurant with great service and nice ambience, the food was a major disappointment. The burrata salad could not have been more bland with unripe and soggy tasteless tomatoes at the height of tomato season. And the spaghetti vongole was composed of what appeared and tasted like frozen clams in a city with a phenomenal reputation for fresh seafood. Even the limoncello was low grade. It was such a letdown for our highly anticipated late meal on our way home from the Venice Film Festival. We don’t understand the high ratings. They are not deserved—at least they were not for us.

Very creative food that was fresh and well prepared. Staff was exceptionally attentive and friendly and spoke very god English. The tempura king prawn primi dish was amazing. Great crunchy start to the meal. We enjoyed a delicious T bone steak that was brought to us while sizzling on a hot iron skillet and finished cooking it on the tabletop. This was a fun touch, and the beef was very god quality, tender and nicely marbled. The desserts were all great - haven’t had a finer tiramisu during my 8 night stay in Venice. This place is a gem - and reasonably priced. Highly recommended with no reservations and highest compliments to the top notch staff.

The food was lovely, and the setting is quiet and ambient. However we felt the staff were quite pushy, bringing the card machine and asking for a tip at the of the meal. We did have a lovely meal and they were able to cater for my coeliac daughter, although I’m not sure I’d go back here.

This spot was one of the true highlights of our trip to Venice. The food and wine were incredible and the service was kind and friendly. The setting is a beautiful quaint location on a gorgeous winding street. Highlights of the meal included a pasta with local artichokes and a Franciacorta wine we loved! We can't wait to come back!

Sitting outside was a lovely experience. The food was excellent, and the wait staff were polite and friendly. The restaurant has a nice selection of wines.
