8/10Make your reservation through the fork and you will receive a discount..be careful I saw them be pushing about tipping for service with customers-they did not do this to me....but I watched it several times.

6.5/10We've eaten at Bacarandino before and really enjoyed it. It wasn't convenient to visit this trip, but the 20% off promised by The Fork made us book it. We showed up, gave them our name and noted that we had a reservation, and were seated quickly. Food was good. At the end not only did we not receive the promised discount, but our server was very insistent that we tip - despite tipping not usually being expected in Italy. A bad ending to a good meal. We won't be returning, and I'll no longer recommend it to others.

10/10you have to try this restaurant for his elegance for the food and for the service I like that match the frosted fresh cup made the mushrooms as a little king prawns I like the house why wine peanut grid this was tightly amazing and the wise was very good

The food was fantastic, with a very varied and exciting menu. We struggled to pick just one thing it all sounded that food. The servers were very friendly and really looked after us. We ended up there for about 2.5 hours slowly taking in the ambience, amazing food, and all in all had a lovely night

9.5/10Very pleasant experience. Arrived a few minutes early and was offered complimentary prosecco. Yummy appetizers of carpaccio and beef tartare. Pastas were delicious with great bite. Chocolate and pistachio souffles were a delightful surprise. Waiter recommended a great wine(not too expensive). Even tried grappa..... An acquired taste. Away from the hustle and bustle of San Marco... Not too far though. What a find.

5/10The food was good, but the service was terrible. Through the app, we were entitled to a 50% discount on everything (excluding drinks), but during payment, the owner claimed there was an error with the app and only applied a 20% discount, limited to the first and second courses (we paid 100% for dessert and the cover charge). We couldn’t protest because the receipt had already been issued. The Fork resolved the issue, but the restaurant owner is dishonest.

As soon as we arrived at Bacarandino, we were greeted with excellent service. We arrived 10 minutes early for our reservation, and they offered us complimentary wine while we waited for our table—though we were seated ahead of our scheduled time. Every dish we tried was amazing, but I highly recommend the seafood platter, seared tuna, carbonara, and tiramisu. These were the standout dishes. If we're ever in Venice again, we’ll definitely return!

8/10We arrived, were shown to a table, and then forgotten for about 20 minutes. We saw that the bus person reminded the server that we were there. The server... Not too personable or charming or friendly... Just business. At the end of the meal and upon collecting the bill he gave an audible "Hmmmph" when there was no tip. This is in Italy... tips are Not common or expected! He did not deserve a tip none-the-less. Any way, the Food was Very delicious but the service was pretty mediocre. Disappointing.

10/10This is a hidden gem. We sat outside looking at the beautiful buildings of Venice and enjoyed being away from the crowds. I had the grilled fish of the day with grilled vegetables. Delicious ! My husband had the pasta with prawns and mushrooms and it was equally good. The service was excellent and the waiters spoke English and were very friendly. I highly recommend Bacarandino. I hope we get to eat here again.

10/10There is so much to love about this restaurant. It's off the main tourist trail, nestled in a lovely square that is full of atmosphere. I booked ahead and received a 20% discount for doing so. I was pleasantly surprised that they knew about this - I've booked through sites before and the communication has failed which has spoiled things. We received a lovely welcome. The menu is amazing. The food is local and the wine is lovely. We had prosciutto with figs, fusilli with blue crab and smoked ricotta (heavenly), duck ragu lasange ( more heaven) and then we had cheese which came with some special surprises and was yummy. We've been to Venice a few times and Bacaradino is definitely a 'find'.

8.5/10Distinguished looking restaurant, good food and quite sufficient wine list. Ambience is typical venetian. It has two kocations , opposite to each other. Service is ok, through toward end of season tiu can see and feel that there patience is less. They are alle dressed well and i guess expect also wel being customers with big tip ...

7.5/10For a well located restaurant with great service and nice ambience, the food was a major disappointment. The burrata salad could not have been more bland with unripe and soggy tasteless tomatoes at the height of tomato season. And the spaghetti vongole was composed of what appeared and tasted like frozen clams in a city with a phenomenal reputation for fresh seafood. Even the limoncello was low grade. It was such a letdown for our highly anticipated late meal on our way home from the Venice Film Festival. We don’t understand the high ratings. They are not deserved—at least they were not for us.
