The food was fantastic, with a very varied and exciting menu. We struggled to pick just one thing it all sounded that food. The servers were very friendly and really looked after us. We ended up there for about 2.5 hours slowly taking in the ambience, amazing food, and all in all had a lovely night

The setting of the restaurant is warm and elegant. My wife and I love their beef carpaccio, orecchiette and ravioli filled with cod!

Very pleasant experience. Arrived a few minutes early and was offered complimentary prosecco. Yummy appetizers of carpaccio and beef tartare. Pastas were delicious with great bite. Chocolate and pistachio souffles were a delightful surprise. Waiter recommended a great wine(not too expensive). Even tried grappa..... An acquired taste. Away from the hustle and bustle of San Marco... Not too far though. What a find.

We had Christmas dinner here. It was our best meal in Venice over the holiday. Special, personal service with locals manning the floor. Food was superb. Thank you Bacarandino team.

Food is good and worth the money. Wine tad expensive. We ended up paying 100 euros for a bottle of lugana. Service is good and ambience is nice.

The food was good, but the service was terrible. Through the app, we were entitled to a 50% discount on everything (excluding drinks), but during payment, the owner claimed there was an error with the app and only applied a 20% discount, limited to the first and second courses (we paid 100% for dessert and the cover charge). We couldn’t protest because the receipt had already been issued. The Fork resolved the issue, but the restaurant owner is dishonest.

As soon as we arrived at Bacarandino, we were greeted with excellent service. We arrived 10 minutes early for our reservation, and they offered us complimentary wine while we waited for our table—though we were seated ahead of our scheduled time. Every dish we tried was amazing, but I highly recommend the seafood platter, seared tuna, carbonara, and tiramisu. These were the standout dishes. If we're ever in Venice again, we’ll definitely return!

We arrived, were shown to a table, and then forgotten for about 20 minutes. We saw that the bus person reminded the server that we were there. The server... Not too personable or charming or friendly... Just business. At the end of the meal and upon collecting the bill he gave an audible "Hmmmph" when there was no tip. This is in Italy... tips are Not common or expected! He did not deserve a tip none-the-less. Any way, the Food was Very delicious but the service was pretty mediocre. Disappointing.

This is a hidden gem. We sat outside looking at the beautiful buildings of Venice and enjoyed being away from the crowds. I had the grilled fish of the day with grilled vegetables. Delicious ! My husband had the pasta with prawns and mushrooms and it was equally good. The service was excellent and the waiters spoke English and were very friendly. I highly recommend Bacarandino. I hope we get to eat here again.

Food was very good. The service was lacking which almost ruined the entire experience. Staff seemed hurried and disorganized. At the end of the evening, the primary waiter made the tipping process EXTREMELY uncomfortable.

There is so much to love about this restaurant. It's off the main tourist trail, nestled in a lovely square that is full of atmosphere. I booked ahead and received a 20% discount for doing so. I was pleasantly surprised that they knew about this - I've booked through sites before and the communication has failed which has spoiled things. We received a lovely welcome. The menu is amazing. The food is local and the wine is lovely. We had prosciutto with figs, fusilli with blue crab and smoked ricotta (heavenly), duck ragu lasange ( more heaven) and then we had cheese which came with some special surprises and was yummy. We've been to Venice a few times and Bacaradino is definitely a 'find'.
